Need some input on my grow

Hey guys and gals of roll it up I am a new grower( one grow under my belt) and I want to see if I have everything right. My first grow I grew with cfls and some pre made soil mix my buddy gave me. Got about half ounce on one plant. For my second grow i bought a 400 watt mh/hps grow light and some fox farm happy frog soil mixed with 1/4 vermiculite. I have been saving some good bag seeds over the years and pick 5 of the best looking ones. (4 sprouted) They are 11 days in and look good. I had some heat problems in the first week but i fixed that. In the next 2 weeks i am going to move to a 3 gallon pot till finish. My question is does everything look like its suppose to? i am hoping on the low end at lease one is female but thats mother nature for ya. Any input would be apprecated. ohhh and i am going to use the fox farm trio nuts but i dont think they need any yet.

Heck yeah, i like the happy frog, just imo it holds water for a little to long that's why I'm adding that vermiculite.

That is what I thought but heck I ain't going to complain. I have a switchable ballast and it's at 75% from 50% on week one. The space between new growth is really small can I bump it up to 100% or wait?

I'd say all looks well. I have some sprouts around the same age. Yours are much bigger lol.

11 days don't need much light do ur homework. raise a 400 up to about 4 ft.

I dunno it's a fine line Yer drawing there, not enough light and they'll stress and stretch. They look good so keep doin what your doin.
They aren't burned either.
I'd keep it at 75 for a while longer then notch it up and raise your lights. Are you gonna top or lst?

I was going to do both but should I just lst?

if ya got an indica, theyre short so some stretch is good I think . my tallest is 46" . I always top and lst or crop

Just FYI. I believe you are supposed to use lower wattage bulbs when you lower the wattage on your ballast. The bulbs don't fire right or give the correct spectrum if you use a 400w bulb at 50%..Better to just move the light higher from your plants.

Probably not making a huge difference though.. Everything is looking good.

Good point I raised the light 4 ft above them and replanted the two big ones in five gallon pots. Here is a pick of the best one (on a side note does this look indica or sativa)?

I want to grow a strain that has big fat awesome Indica leaves. I see them sometimes. I have to figure out what they are. I am thinking maybe Afghan.

Really hard to tell at this time. Very clean and healthy tho.

It varies, thousands different strains yiu know what I mean? I have some sativas i believe very strong smell already. Nothing like the previous grow. This baby is 10 Days in..
