I am either not impressed with the info we're receiving or the info we're receiving is not impressive....is this really the meat and potatoes of this case? It seems like we rehashing shit all the fucking time....perhaps a lot of things were agreed upon beforehand...and why isn't his job to stay up to date on mj?

they still believe willful ignorance is helping them save face along the lines that marijuana is not a medicine in their point of view.

MANSON VICTIMS AMEND MMAR PERMITS APPEAL KIT INSTRUCTIONS

This is for the Victims affected by the Mar 21 2014 Order and Dec 30 2014 Amended Order of Federal Court Justice Manson not to grandfather some patients' possess with their grow permits and not to allow any amendments to survivors.

http://johnturmel.com/amendpermits.pdf are the templates you use to move the Federal Court of Appeal for immediate interim relief.

You only add personal information to the Affidavit. The Notice and Memorandum are just entering ID and the odd signature and your local Federal Crown office address. So fill in the forms and amend the Affidavit to suit your info.

Print out 5 copies, 1 for Crown, 3 for Court, 1 for you.

Sign the 5 Notices and Memorandums, not the Affidavit.

Go down to the FCC-FCA Registry where a clerk will swear your affidavit. The clerk may commission all 5 kits if there is time. I usually swear one and make 4 copies of that "commissioned" page and insert one commissioned page copy into each of the other 4 kits. I mark the Original kit.

Deliver another kit to your local Ministry of Justice Crown office where they'll stamp on the back of the Original kit that they "accept service" of the document.

Bring that Original kit with proof of service with 2 more kits to file at the Registry. Get your kit certified too.

Pay the $20 and then wait 10 days to get the Crown response. It will probably be a boiler-plate response so I'll have a boiler-plate Reply at this page to answer within 4 days if you want to add anything. Then on to the judge's desk for decision.

There are 2 weeks to add files to his desk before he has to decide on the Fearless Five. Obviously, the more Applicants on his desk, the more likely it won't be dismissed casually. Helping get Manson Victims filed for immediate interim remedy happens to be the "only way open" at this point and the more victims standing up...

Everyone seems to think this case was going to be a really big, exciting debate that would be in the news, etc. The reality is that this impacts such a small % of the population that it's not likely to get much coverage unfortunately. Also, this is how the higher courts work - unlike Joe Brown, they just amass ridiculous amounts of information and hear everyone out and then give out a verdict. This can take weeks and weeks and many days are similar to this one.

It is what it is unfortunately - I just hope the resolution is clear and sensible.

though its true it only impacts a meager 40 thousand of us....it also touches the minds of our friends and families..
as well as informed rec smokers.....even my elderly mother knows...because it impacts her son....
so I would think....at least 200,000 people....would be aware...and with the way info moves these days.....the numbers are likely considerably higher....on a "lighter involvement" type of scenario....or just sorta reading the non main stream news...
we are all immersed...pretty deeply in the details of the case....and are following intently...
I know I keep spreading the word ....whenever I get a chance to speak...to others...maybe less informed...
so as long as people keep tweeting and facebooking and in general doing what we are doing here....
google finds all the current info...and helps spread the word too....
so spread the word....

I agree, but that's still 0.56% of the population.
Compare that to the 2013 survey results, 19.3% of Canadians are smokers - that stuff will always be in the news because it's almost 1 in 5 people that it impacts.

I want to believe this will get the coverage, but outside of my friends on the MMPR side, the rest of them have no idea marijuana is even legal for medical use in this country.
