So, according to federal law it is illegal to ban AR15 ammo. An AR15 is NOT a handgun.

Ahhhh, that's the catch!

Weapons manufactures have been turning out AR-15 pistols for the last ten years getting around some weapon bans in some states. These weapons would qualify as handguns, making the ammunition illegal for use in such weapons potentially.

It's all a cluster fuck.

Depending on where you are, wild boar are considered a nuisance. Plenty of them to be had. Deer are harder to find in Kali and taste better than boar imo.

Damn near all the non-tox manufactured according to ATF, which is why they spoke out on Kali's lead ammo ban.

i have plenty of exposure to assault rifles.

You know that 5.56 is a very small round compared to 7.62 or 30-06. They have made single shot contender pistols that shoot very large caliber hunting rounds and they are concealed easier than ar pistols.

I don't see how this ban would help anything.
