Great come back/argument :) Are they going to put inspections in place for those who grow their lettuce and tomatoes indoor?
they should...you can get E.Coli from bad lettuce.....
of all the stuff i have eaten from gardens, i should be dead 100 times over. man are they reaching.
i like the part about testing apples..."it could be dangerous if you eat a bad one"...no shit Sherlock but that's why you look first

Yeah, so far if you step back and look at this logically and impartially, which the judge should be doing, doesn't look like there's anything to worry about in this particular case. All of this questioning and direction the government is taking it in has nothing to do with the constitutional right to grow a plant and use it for medicine. While they may successfully push for controls, at this point that's about the only argument they may win, but under the old program :)

i hope they see that both can coincide...if you can grow or have a DG, do it. if you have to buy from LP's or CC's do it.
give US the choice.
I think "us" having a choice should be the main focus to all these arguments. Why does the fate of many get decided by any one person?
I can understand why judges or groups of judges or whomever where necessary 100 years ago when people didnt communicate besides a letter delivered by horseback but with technology should come advancements to the way we govern ourselves.
We dont need judges representing our queen we havent been ruled by for 100 years.

Im glad you guys have a better understanding of the court system than me.
I dont understand how this is all supposed to work.
Regardless of what this judge decides isnt this going to be appealed til long after the federal election anyway?

No worries, I spent 3 years (and a small fortune) in court fighting my ex and I still don't understand how it works.

If you think this court is confusing, try family/divorce court, there is no such thing as justice in that system. The judges, the lawyers, they all now it's broken, but it's so bad they can't figure out how to fix it. Direct quote from my lawyer.

Yes, I think it will be appealed...based on history

I think that that given how dumb they have come off so far in questioning, the crown would totally be dumb enough to play the sympathy cards for the LP's. "Think of the $$ invested, blah blah blah" THAT'S when I'm curious to see the response. So far things seem ok, fingers crossed

i am waiting for that too. if they went through Allard's finances showing how he could cut out this & that, i hope they do the same for LP's...cut out your advertising budget (it's illegal) don't eat as much, no employer paid benefits etc...they could lower their prices that way....still no way to guarantee quality though
