LES itself looks to be 85.6mm and just over 105mm for the outside diameter including the holder....

If it weren't for the low voltages, one could just wire the COB directly to the wall outlet...poof, you have the sun within reaching distance.

Osram should just buy-out these jokesters, have them beat on most fronts except "white"/cob tech ==== if Osram's new household led bulbs are any indication, shouldn't be too long for that either

From the limited info, they claim 3000K is about 25% efficient at 965W. But it fails to specify min, typ or max and it says @ Ta25C (ambient temp) so we have no idea what junction temp they are assuming.

I agree with that. More information would be helpful. Maybe it was left out for a reason? If 25% is the best the cob can achieve, I'm sticking with the more efficient Bridgelux and Cree.
