5 times now.

BRACT IS NOT THE FLOWER>

BRACT MAY OR MAY NOT PRODUCE A FLOWER

WE INTENTIONAL DO NOT ALLOW OUR BRACTS TO FLOWER

That is all I have for you.
Then provide some links or information on this. This is all I am asking. Everything I've read or understand says different.

I posted a picture of a cannabis in flower.

We don't let the bract produce a flower.

That's all there is. You are flopping around over a term.

Trying to save face?

A bract produces the flower. So, the bract is not the flower.

Chuck posted a picture.

You want to argue over petty terms at the amateur level.

Take a Botany class how about?

I think are whole miss understanding comes from the fact that as a grower of hops you harvest before the flowers set. And I understand that. And botany was 40+ years ago.

just consider anything that bears fruit.i know of no industry that "flushes" its fruit trees or plants to "wash" away.

imho all your doing is washing away any beneficial micronutrients that are required for final sugar process.

these are the same people who use molasses in their grow or buy any AN. because science! says hydro.

why would you give your plant one of those liquid "sugar" makers for the finish to stimulate the type of bacteria that is required to make that sugar in the first place only to wash away? simple. they don't know why they are doing or why they are doing it.

newbs - you do realize that it's bacteria and not the "sweetening" product itself?

there's a sucker born everyday and the topic goes on.

right, it stops everything except the breakdown of starches and chlorophyll. FLUSHING as you claim, removes nutrients from the buds and makes them taste better. you're not flushing after the plant is dead.
The idea is somehow, if you drain the stores in the roots and leaf stems, you will have a plant that contains no "chemicals"??

Yet, it used all the ions it took up and combined those to make plant building blocks, of cellulose precursors and such.

So drain the precursors is suppose to be clearing the "chemicals" but the stores for these are not in the bud sites.

It is the most backwards logic but so typical of hippy bs.

Why do you consider it a wife's tail when commercial farmers do it ?
I am not advocating flushing or not !
lol farms . Salts rise from no water. I don't know any farms. That do that-any.
which commercial farmers would that be?
if its a real farmer none. They rotate crops for nutes. And charge the soil. If its in need. After soil testing

And you seem to think I promote flushing, and I would never poor 10 gallons of water through my 5gallon pots. But I believe in lowering my nutes the last week cause the plants tell me they don't need that much.

No one seems to think. You are arguing about hops and bracts I thought.

They don't need much, in the end, but plain water will shock them at just the wrong time.

I'm sorry, but aren't you the one who claimed commercial farmers do it? and then when asked which ones, you avoid it or play it off like you didn't make that statement.WTF?
