Just recently got my vac purge. Had it maybe 2 weeks. Did a few runs. Still kinda figuring it out. But last blast I did was critical mass and I got it to butter up using the vac, silicone double boiler, and an electric skillet lol its my pic.
I water boil like most until there's almost no bubbles left then put in the vac at -5hg until the muffin starts to shrink. I increase the vac pressure -5hg once the bubbling starts to stop all at room temp. Until I hit -30hg pressure.
I tried using a hot cold method to purge it. And it worked wonders! I let it heat for a good while while keeping an eye on it. Once it started to bubble I would put my chamber in ice water.
