"Area 51 LED" Information and discussion

A51 is a busy place right now. New lights should be around by the end of April.

Word on the street, the guys at A51 adopted some puppies.

Does that mean you'll be ready to release the schematics/spec's of the new lights before then, or will that info be circulated officially only once they're available to order?
Any pre-order promo' savings being planned at all?
 
Your lucky. I bought a RW75 yesterday and they offered me a W100. They did this to me last week too. Not to mention the One rw75 I did get 2 weeks ago came with a broken fan. On top of all this, they said it would be 3 to 4 weeks if I want to wait for rw 75 to get in stock.
 
My plants have been just dying under theses lights. I've had 5 RW150's for about 6 weeks now. I'd buy a 6th one if I could get a plant healthy. Take the same plant, put it under hps, and it greens right up immediately. I've tried all different heights. Right now I have them around 20 inches. Recently a couple started coming around and greening up. I don't really know why. I made a post on page 8.

How far away do you keep the lights?

There's recommended heights on the FAQ page on the a51 website.

I saw that. It hasn't really helped. Having unhealthy plants sucks. Lol I've had them high. I've had them low. I keep thinking it's my nutes. But, the plants under hps 3 feet away are growing super fast with healthy green leaves.

That's strange. I've had mine at all different heights with no issues.

Man that sucks they just emailed me today saying they were going to ship my 4xRW75's today or tomorrow.....ill be ordering 2 more friday
