Vero 10 35w veg light

Just hung my 5k Vero 10 veg lamp today built by my bud Supra and he did an awesome job on it.
For 36 watts man is it bright!
My whole veg tent is pulling 46 watts, 35w from the lights and 11w from the exhaust fan.
You can't beat that to veg two girls at a time.

They'll get a good 7 weeks under these Veros so let's see what they can do. 32W dissipation 35W power draw. About 5000 lumens, 5000K 70 CRi.
Efficiency will be about 42.5%.
I started the girls under two 5k cree bulbs last monday.

They appear to be vero 10 but still very nice build.

For anybody wondering, the strains are HSO Em-dog and a lemon kush headband, also from HSO. In rapid rooters in 5 gallon grow bags with promix bx and extra course perlite 50/50. Tap water, Jacks classic and blossom booster for food.

What size are those heatsinks?

They look like 12-16" of the 5.886 profile from Heatsink usa. Probably just warm to the touch, 5-8*C above ambient. Am I close?

They're 16" x 2.079" and yes just slightly warm to the touch.
Maybe a degree or two higher than ambient.

Nice. I have a 4' piece of the three inch profile coming from lck. I was already putting in an order for another build and it didn't hurt the shipping at all. Im gonna hack 6" off to use with a single vero10 for yet another project and stick 5 on the remaining 42". All 4000k 80cri at 300mA.

Just trimmed up the girls and raised the lights a little and everything's moving along.
28 days out of the ground today, about a week and a half behind due to a fumbled start.
I'll top each plant once next Saturday and give them another 3 weeks after that under these Veros, then move them under the cxa's and a screen for another week or 2 of veg (about 8 weeks total from sprout) then flip.
First scrog. First cobs. Second grow. Cant wait!

Topped them Monday and they're moving along with healthy green growth. I really like 5k for veg.


Tight growth and the stems are getting nice and thick.

Here's the girls 7 weeks and 3 days under the Veros.
Going under the CXA's and my first attempt at a scrog tomorrow for one more week of veg then it's party time!
