Help should i remove lower branches?

Hello little help would be nice.

Strain:tga subcool 3d third dimension
vegged for 1month under 150watt hps
switched to 12/12 13days a go (now using 400watt hps)
using bloom organic nutriens for flowering
i topped it after 3rd node
i got problem with lower branches...the top ones and middle ones are doing very good but bottom ones are not even close to that,in fact they dont even shove white hairs...so i am wondering to cut them all down and give the top ones and middle ones maximum energy?is it safe to do it while 2weeks in flowering?

so here are the pics

Two weeks in, shouldn't really hurt them too much. I'd leave them. It isn't going to hurt the plant to leave them either. Next time if you want, lollipop them the last two weeks of veg. You could also scrog them.

yes chop them off , but not the fan leafs .. chop every bud site in the lower part that dont get light and let your plant focus her energy in the top colas , you will be pleased with the result.

Yes I do it all the time...they wont miss a beat
Me too. I keep 3-4" clean off the bottom for a few reasons. a) light penetration from my 400w doesn't get that deep. b) it allows room for my auto-drip system. c) It allows me to keep the top of my soil clean of debris much more easily. d) It allows for better air movement at the bottom of the plants and top of the pot

with the results you are looking for..you need a light upgrade to 1000HPS.

i can tell you won't be satisfied with the 400HPS, after my first grow i wasn't..that's what i did.

this is my day 12 flower with transitional light:

isn't this his first grow? one of the biggest reasons a new grower falls is because they take on too much at once IMHO.

yes it is fine to remove lower branches that are not producing quality buds, i do it on every plant every time.
