Hi and thanks for checking out my girls, I really appreciate the feedback.
I've enjoyed growing out Querkle a ton such varied colors even in the one that is basically green.
I used to have a lemon kinda widow, I miss that plant. I'd love a lemon querkle!

HEYHEYHEY RIU!
So it's exactly 9 weeks of 12/12 and 8 on cookie mix. I had to take down my scrog, it seems my basement drain empties under the house, and my landlord
said it should be fine in summer, but in the winter here the ground is like ..FROZEN. so it's not moving the water. And I'm not into mopping
up puddle.. so. I took down the scrog and put the saucers I had in storage under my plants.
I didn't realize just how big these bitches are until I had one standing beside me out in the open. Cookie mix is up to my chest.
I guess it's all relative.
I must admit I was happy to get to touch and look at and examine my plants all over. I'm just like that, I need to be closer to my
plants than the scrog allows. I do like how they end up so even and uniform and the growth is just fantastic.
So I need to find a happy medium somewhere.
I'm also 100% organic now, at least on some of my plants. I'll still use bottle nutes in veg and probably on my personal flowers until
they are all gone.
My patient however will be getting 100% bare skin. And I will make sure to say which is which when the time comes.
Right now my soil is cooking and I have to say I didn't do much. I grew up on a farm and in dirt and corn, peaches, you name it.
And I've always grown flowers and had a garden up until recently, and even then I grew sunflowers.
Some how the link just never crossed over that what I did for those plants would work on cannabis.. it's a plant right?
I guess when I learned to grow I used what my mentor used and I just never made the connection. Kinda dumb but I have
to admit that.
I've gone back over my memories as a kid and I remember us throwing veggies in a pile way out back and we'd dig up red earthworms to go fishing with.
I never put all this together in all these years, but it seems my mom had a compost pile
. ( no I wont be making one,
I like ordering bags and bags of poo and compost and just being done with it.
I liked worms as a kid, but not so much in my 40's
)
She passed away many years ago and I was never into this stuff when I had the chance to discuss it, so I'm just flying by
memory and what I've used on other flowers, and of course comparing this to what I read here on the forums.
I say ALL that to say my attempts at organic may or may not be successful right away but it's how I grew up and it's kinda neat to get back to.
Now, on to the porn!
Will just be focusing on the 3 that are due to get chopped within the next 2 weeks, this will probably be the last pics of them
because I just have too much going on and I know I'll forget.
Here is a shot of the flower room now that they are not under the screen. I did prop up Birthday cake because not only is she wide but
she is heavy. PS- yes there are a couple random cat hairs and even one of mine, the girls are very sticky and I had to move them all around

I just didn't get to post, I took pics during and after harvest though.
I've had to make a few hard choices and even though I love my BBK I have decided it's time I cut her from my garden.
I need a reliable strain that will yield well from 1 plant, so I can keep under my 15 plant limit and still experiment with new strains.
And that is just not BBK, she roots slow, clones poorly and vegs slow. she is a wonderful smoke, and if the yield were better I would keep her.
alas.. this was the last of her.
Another strain I closed out was a hybrid GDP, no idea what her exact origins are.
Great gal but just above average smoke.
random shots of them drying. Birthday cake was large so I wet trimmed her and one of the querkles. Q2 I hung up whole and did a dry trim.

I have put in the two Chemmy Jones to determine gender, I don't need another boy right now. The 3 godberries are doing well and I will update

Thanks! I really like the bbk and she's a great smoke, I will miss her. The querkle I have 2 they are very different. Q1 the more sparse of the two thatWow that is amazing the colors are just unreal i hope it smokes as well as it looks
never really got much purple smells like lemon pledge. Q2 which is the fuller more purple girl, smells like grapes and some sort of fuel when
you break her open.
I have them in jars now with some boveda packs, will try them soon and do a smoke report!

Decided to post a few pics of the girls in now.
Cookie Mix has about a week left. Her trichs are cloudy and just a few are starting to change to pale amber.
She might even be ready this weekend, at this point I check trich's daily.
The 3 godberries are doing very well, the boy is so cute! I haven't had the fun of growing out a boy before.
All three are kinda small, since i just put them in a few weeks into veg.
Small seed run here and back to just girls.
I've had godberry from a local, I enjoyed the smoke very much, so I wanted seeds to play around with.
My mixed up seedling I called Myst is 99.99% Barney's Pineapple chunk ( freebie seed) , she smells soooo good. Not very sweet but a little mainly just green fruity
like maybe a honeydew. She doesn't smell pineapple to me yet, but she is still filling in.
I did toss in another Q2 because I want babies. So I'll have Querky Berry seeds soon. This is something new for me, I've never
done seeds before. I'm sure there is much more to it than I am doing. These will just be for me to pheno hunt from in the
distant future.
I do have to say I am very pleased with my TGA seeds. I've grown out a few diff breeders,paradise,cali con,barney's and a few more and so far
I am most pleased by the Querkle, from seed to seedling to dried ( I have yet to try soo many though. so that's just an observation of what I have tried so far.)
She replaced my BBK. I have 2 diff pheno's and I am torn.
The better producer who is also the purple pheno, smells like grapes and a cleaner of some sort.
The green pheno is a lower yielder, smells like lemon pledge and a fuel, maybe kerosene? the fuel smell is only in the middle when
you crack open a bud.
And of the two I almost prefer the lemon one. I will give them both awhile to see which ends up winning.
I have 2 chemmy jones that are in to see gender, nothing on that front yet. Not keeping any boys if they pop.
If I don't get a girl it's OK because I have about 4 more seeds. I got a few freebies of chemmy jones too.
I think that's everything. OH! I am going to do a test on 2 of my querkle clones. I have 1 in my organic soil and one in my standard soilless ready grow mix.
I plan to run them side by side. I'll post that on my journal page, with my veg updates.

Godberry 1 was topped early after she had a mutated leaf. It does not seem to have hampered her in anyway.
If anything she is larger than Godberry 3 which was topped like I normally do.
The mystery is solved, My pineapple chunk is doing very well
I hope she turns out well because as wonderful as she smells, I want to keep her.
And I forgot I have a q2 in the mix

hey!! how ya been? I would be happy to!
Q1 smells lemony but with fuel in her core.
Q2 is grape grape smelling, not as much tasting but she also smells like a cleaner, nothing
bad, maybe like ajax or something. it's actually a nice combo.
The Pineapple chunk smells fresh and fruity like a fresh rain with honeydew. not very sweet.
I can't fully describe cookie mix. I'll have to go smell her again later.
I was just posting an update when I saw this pop up!
