buying bottled silica??? next time Agsil16h for cents on the GALLON

http://buildasoil.com/products/agsil16h-potassium-silicate

personally don't use silica anyways as their is already low levels of it in EWC and dicot (cannabis) plants benefit little from it last I checked...

The Silica was a gift. I prefer composting dandelions but for the Aero cloner and foliar it works great. Protekt has a great formula and I hooked up with a company at the cup that has a special converted silica that is readily absorbed by the plants. Made a ton of cool connections including a money guy who is working with Tesla.

Aptus's facilitator is/was supposed to be the only bioavailable silicate...till now it sounds like. Would be nice if what you're talking about is cheaper. And great pick up with cookies and cream...FIRE!!! Heard it took 2nd down there for hash too.

Their is a reason why Si is NOT an essential element...............show me a study where dicots truly benefit from it??

aptus form of "bioavailable" silicates at the price is fucking laughable imo........it's a nice fert industry term too:P

ewc/comfrey/horsetail contain plenty of silica if your into that......not that it's rare anyways...lol

I have read that fast growing weed plants use silica to build strong cell walls. I can see a difference. I stopped using it and I saw a big decline in the health of my garden. It was the only thing I changed.

I think APTUS is the company I spoke to at the cup. I never saw the price.

I hear Budbastic is the shit for super resin production. Have you see how much it costs?

I am still learning. I want to be able to max out my results with naturally acquired ingredients. However I am also open to new breakthroughs that push the envelope.

I am addicted to knowledge! Feed me Seymour!

Cheers,
Mo

I like experimenting with stuff too.

I have made a bit of cal-mag, silica, and humic acid (karma/ancient earth)
the start of a feeding. I do like to give the ladies plain water too.

...but then comes the magic....casting, teas, and Ignitor/Big Bud/Overdrive

I bought a bag of Maxi-Bloom, to try that too. STRONG!

Hey hyroot it was cool seeing you guys at the cup Saturday. I told my friend about Mo's tophat and for some reason I told him to watch the seed booths a little closer and sure enough there you guys were at the tga booth. It seems like I spent half my time there looking at seed menus. Felt like a kid in a candy store. I went with sincity but deviated a little from my plan. I grabbed blue lime pie and blue power f2. A lot of freebies, my friend somehow scored a brand new med e vape with new med cartridges for free. I saw your haul, nice way to spend your birthday.

And thanks @Mohican for reaching into your bag and sharing, that was a decent and cool thing to do. Offer still stands on that La Plata alien bubba male. Neighbor! LOL. My males seem to be enjoying this summer? Weather. It's official, we can now grow year round outside in socal.

Had a great time at the cup. It was a pleasure meeting you and sharing some canna-stoke.

I would love to have that male Rob! Unfortunately I already have three out in my garden! Can you collect the pollen?

Males in the garden are Marion Berry, PakiPunch, and Jillanje BX.

I don't know how Subcool, Moonshine, Bog... any of those big farmers do it! I am worn out every day and I have a tiny garden!

Is the new 9lb pheno you gave me tasting the same as the one I already had? I may have to grow side by side myself and choose. LOL Wife says keeper strain.

The FB got the same thumbs up.

You wanted another MK cut?

Been hella busy. Envious of all you guys that got to go to the cup. :-( Maybe someday.

@Socalrob it was great meeting you guys too. I just showed up there 5 min before you. I spotted Mo from a distance too. I picked up all kinds of seeds too. I have enough to run for the next year without ever having to take a clone. Of course I will though.

@yktind and @Javadog thanks. Its very tastey. Imo the best I've made so far.

@SomeGuy the taste is similar. Subtle differences. Ive yet to flower the clone. So it may change. Recessive traits. The new pheno is the biggest yielder and the only one that produced colas. I kind of want another mk ultra cut. Everyone loved it. After picking up so many seeds. Im not sure if I even have the room for it. I already popped some mt rainier, mint chocolate chip, white nightmare, and dark side of the moon. The mt rai iet and white nightmare are supposed to be ridiculously huge yielders and super frosty.

chalice festival is in July. Its smaller than the cup. Cheaper tickets. Less seed companies. Much better and more bands that perform. Last year there heiroglyphics, mac lethal, primus, one seedless, rebelution, etc... It was the first one so it may be bigger this year. I might go to the san Fran cup in June. With the purpose of getting some gg#4 cuts ..

right now plants are still vegging. I do have 90° and 120° lenses. There's no lenses on the cobs right now. The panel is at 18 inches away.

probably 5 - 6 more days of veg. I'd like to let them go another month to get huge. I'm not able too. Gotta keep that schedule. I need that harvest to happen by the end of April.

they're getting watered in the morning.

I'm not using the uvb bulb. Its a t8 or t12 what ever. It wont have any effect unless its with in a few inches of the canopy.
