advice wanted first grow ever

What's up guys first of all I wanted to introduce myself as I'm new here and just looking for any useful advice anyone has to offer and it would be appreciated. So this is my first grow and didn't want to invest to much money in this until I got the hang of it. My setup is a raptor hood 1000w hps hortilux with a hortilux gold ballast and a 440 cfm exhaust fan and a air king oscillating fan to keep the ladies cool and I'm also using some exhale c02 bags with lucky dog soil and soul synthetic nutes also today is day 30 of flowering so let me know what you think

Check your calendar. If those in the picture have been flowering just 30 days I would be surprised. I always wonder about newby posts where there is no question or observation. Like you are just looking for an "attaboy". ???

Bragging or complaining? :) What advice can you give? It looks like you are doing OK.

Well dispute what you may think I was looking for possible advice for improvement cause there's always room for improvement and since I learned most of what I know from here I thought this would be a good place look and I switched to flower on January 2nd so its been 30 days and if I wanted a attaboy I would have asked how these look and not asked for advice on improvement. So I'm sorry if you took it that way but I was just looking for advice not bragging nor complaining

Have you ever thought of deleafing some of those HUGE fan leaves to allow light penetration to the nugs below?

Attaboy. You earned it. You paid the ticket. I believe you. Just ignore the tolls as you do in real life.

People can be so critical since they are actually and technically hiding.

And questioning your time? Just miserable trolling. Oh the troller may have all kinds of excuses. You may be a racist or something :) (inside joke, never mind)

But, it is the fight back they want. Tell us more about your technique. How do you do it? What do you want advice on? And even if you are just saying howdy, here is my grow, good on you.

Welcome. We appreciate your photo.

The thing the troll hates is to be ignored, after you artfully defended yourself. Case closed.

He is not that dumb. :) That is not how it works. Fans do not shade the PAR illumination. They are almost transparent to that. So, your idea is false. You can get a PAR meter these days. Prove it for yourself. Or look up studies on stawberries and PAR. Or Soybeans, or Wheat and PAR>

The reason leaves on the bottom grow bigger is to compensate for slightly less PAR that gets through from the top, on all plants. And you can see a gradation of leaf size as it goes down the plant, just for this reason.

Illuminating the "nugs below" do not make it better up top, if you strip the photo factory leaves.

Here, try to learn and not just repeat myth, OK? :)
