I'll sub this thread, just to see how it goes
Typically Colloidal Silver (CS) is used to force a female plant to produce pollen, typically on just a single branch. That pollen is then collected, and put on another female flowering plant (in the early stages).
That will pollinate the second plant, and it will produce feminized seeds.
Some even pollinate the same plant they made the pollen on. To make pollen, it takes ~3-4 weeks, and seeding takes ~4 weeks, so this technique typically works better on sativa strains. However, if you like couchlock, and/or just want to let an entire plant go to seed, indicas can be forced to produced fem seeds in a single run too.
Hope this made sense. I'm a bit liquored, getting my next batch of veg plants ready for the flowering tent
Disclaimer: I make my own CS, as I use it to make seeds, and my girlfriend drinks the stuff for health reasons.
