No if your r dedicated to growing then 4-6 plants would defo be your best bet and would also be realistic in terms of how much yeld you would get to make it worth your while......
If I had used HPS or MH before i wouldn't be asking these questions would I?If you hold fast on your motto of all or nothing, enjoy nothing. You have knowledge of plants? Great, how many have you grown with HPS and MH bulbs?
Top growers hope to get a gram a watt.
Depending on strain determines your light sq.
You're next questions determine whether the convo continues.
I think I will take the advice given and go with 2 lights and 6 plants. Thanks much appreciated! No if your r dedicated to growing then 4-6 plants would defo be your best bet and would also be realistic in terms of how much yeld you would get to make it worth your while......
If that company meant 550 grams per plant, I laugh. A plant will only get so big before it sexually matures at around 30ish days, and that's when autos start to flower so again it will only get so big. If this plant really yielded like that, this strain would be one of the hottest strains on the market, but it's not so I doubt they will.I've also just managed to get a 2m high by 1.2x1.2 tent so I'll grow one on its own with a dual spectrum clf and see what yield I get. I will post pics how I'm getting on but won't be ready to set up until next Friday.
Another question would be that if it is "550g per square meter" does that means all the other strains I see offering 50-80g on the seed descriptions are also 50-80g per square meter and not per plant?

I have no doubt you'll be able to grow out these seeds and score good bud, but I don't believe that description of 550 grams if it is per plant, bollocks. Again if auto strains were capable of pulling over a pound of dry bud per plant indoors, then it would pull even more outdoors and everyone and their mothers would be growing this auto strain. But they're not. I have yet to see one professional grow room with an auto flower run.
Cheers and be sure to keep us filled in, I'm curious to see if it is even worth running two 600 hps for 6 auto flower plants. I think adding another 600 in a tent will just cause more problems (heat & exhaust), than it will help had weight.
My prediction is you will net around 4-500 grams total if you run the 6 seeds and they all survive till maturity. If you prove me wrong I will happily congratulate you as to a job well done. And if you score 3,300 grams off of 6 of these auto-Ane's, I'll send you a box of chocolates and a blue ribbon. And I'll pick up some of those magic beans as well.
In your earlier post, you said that you knew plants. If I had used HPS or MH before i wouldn't be asking these questions would I?
I'm simply asking questions to help me do my first grow
I know this thread is old but it was painful to read,, and just in case anyone else stumbles across it and reads all the nonsense everyone has been telling you,, for that tent I would put 4x600w one over each meter square, 10 inch outlet with a 6 inch inlet, the part one guy said about autos being a little harder to hit these figures is correct as when doing one or two big plants per 600w the veg stage is what let's your canopy cover the area you are working with, I would do 16 autos, 4 under each light just to make sure, again this is not directed at you as this is old but for anyone who stumbles across it at believes all these guys bullshit and uneducated guesses, heat will not be a problem with 2x600w and neither will 4x600wI grow a lot of plants just not this one, so yes I do have knowledge of plants!
I'm just not a smart ass who claims to know it all like yourself.
If you having nothing productive to say why bother?
Ain't nothin' wrong with a sideways tent.Hey dude, after messing around for while, annoyed with wasted space, heat issues etc. i took a 3.5x3.5x5ft tent, layed it side ways, positioned x5 300w LED units flush with the ceiling and masterfully mainlined as many plants as i could fit in (11L) pots. It worked a treat
Awesome! I thought I was the only crazy one LOL This way with mainlining, worked amazingly for me, a field of nothing but bud, it was a beaut to behold and approx 2oz PP, 14 plants per tentAin't nothin' wrong with a sideways tent.

Me, too. My tent was 1" taller than it said it was, so it wouldn't fit where it needed to go. I didn't want to mess around with a return and get a different tent, so I just sat it on it's side. Been working great.I thought I was the only crazy one LOL

That’s an impressive yield, I don’t hit those figures, I can hit 1gpm when using DWC, but most of the time I like to use different seeds so I don’t have a stable mother to clone from. I would be interested to learn about your set up if you could private message me. Are you uk based ?This guy know's what he is talking about, I use 4 x 600h
This guy is spot on!
I use 4 x 600w in a 2 x 2 x 2m room and get 1.5G per watt (NorthernLights)
4" inlet to 8" system to 6" outlet mix composite grown drip ring feed. 16 years of watching these ladies grow and my best tip, KEEP IT SIMPLE! if you chucked her in the garden she would grow with no effort but the sun.
