Seedsman Review

picked up my latest order from seedsman tonight. ordered on Jan 10th, dispatched on the 12th, and was delivered to central/western Canada yesterday. always so quick with these guys. got the snuggie blanket cause my wife wanted one. thing is pretty small, cheap and useless, but I could give two shits.

first class service each and every time!
 
Someone said on another thread that they had to go to the P.O. and sign for the order. Is this how it is on all orders from seedsman?

I got the guarantee with the blanket thing as my 'gift'. I received my package a couple of weeks ago. I signed for my package at the post office (Canada). there is nothing to worry about, if they wanted to get ya, they would just confiscate the contraband or whatever.

So unless I pay extra, its my problem if i get nothing? Why even ship? I dont think they did... when I stated its too late to grow after 5 weeks since my order, just re credit my card, THEN they sent this....The whole experience has ruined this for me... Im just sad and disgusted by greedy, self righteous people that took money and did not deliver. Fuck seedsman
 
No, most banks offer the resend IF you pay for the option. If they resent all orders that didn't have stealth and the guarantee then they would be out of pocket. The extra cost of postage makes up for the orders that don't make it through. You should count yourself lucky they resent it without any charge, this to me is above and beyond what they had to do.
 
He has a good point, asking how does he even know if it was even sent in the first place, initially. It all could just as easily be extortion to force ppl to always order the stealth extra-shipping option. why should I trust their word over not receiving them?
 
It was a rude awakening for an old hippie. I bought my first LEDs july 4th, turns out I overpaid... Shoulda shopped better. Now I come to find out all the glitzy seed companys are not as they seem. I find it ludicrous that I should just lump it when I get nothing. I would be outta business if I let every internet shyster take my money. This is for reviews, I told my story. Do they offer C.O.D.? no. I will get my seeds from other sources, but wont have the choice of strains....peace

I've ordered from Seedsman quite a number of times and never paid for stealth, every single order arrived. People still have to remember that it's illegal in most countries to buy or have seeds in their posession so buying them is at your own risk. I haven't heard anyone accuse them of not sending before just to get more money out of them, they even resent it to him out of their own pocket, why would they do that if they didn't send it in the first place?

great you have a track record with them so you are confident in their choices.

but still, a new person may not assume it was sent in the first place, therefore if it hadn't >>>then it would never have come out of their pocket in the first place. In addition the result of "losing a pkg." and this "favor" from said company, gets >>> ALL or MOST customers to pay extra for stealth guarantee into the future. I essentially just repeated what I said earlier, but perhaps u didn't understand my two reasons the first time. Can't the seed co prove they sent it the first time by tracking numbers? I don't automatically believe an email from anyone or that a company did as they said they did, but that's just me. One adage i live by is, "things aren't always as they seem." This skepticism has served me well, but if you said you received many packages without the stealth option then that's a positive testament to the co's integrity.
 
Buying is all my risk? SELLING them is also illegal, so there ya go. No matter to me, I told my story, this was MY experience. If I dont receive a product, I will dispute the charge.
 
If you you are getting somthing shipped thats illegal,stealth or not there is a risk that your package will be confiscated,now if you do stealth you will have a bigger chance it will go through so why not pay that extra to give yourself a better chance to recieve them.

Why not use bitcoin and buy it from a grower in the US? I had no problem with ILGM, got 2 orders, 22 days and 8 days. These people first said wait 35 days, then said it was my fault cause their product did not reach me. Whatever, if they add "stealth shipping" in, they are cost prohibitive. It was the attitude from their "customer service" that repelled me. You do whatever you want with your money... Im unfollowing this thread, this whole experience really soured me on buying seeds online. Peace out
