What's your hobby, if you have one.

I love to build model cars. Been building them since I was a kid. I love working by myself so no one can fuck with me. I also collect Hess Trucks, I have been collecting those since 1990..they are all at my parents house still along with my 10s of thousands of Baseball cards.

I bet my parents threw them all away. I had about 60 models too

I collect hifi equipment as one hobby which is the most expensive hobby i have , i also collect & ride Harley Davidson motorcycles .

Im gettin too old to ride most of them , ive got a chopped Shovelhead stroker that i haven't rode in years because its got too much compression to kick start , i think im about done riding the Panhead as well , it liked to ripped my uterous out kickin it over last season , after riding the Panhead over 40 yrs its gonna be hard to watch it sit , riding hard tails & kickers for 50 yrs beat me down .

Got a Knucklehead on the bench now that my son & i are restoring .

Im gonna be stuck riding the electric start bikes , just ordered a new seat for my Fatboy & put a new back tire on the Buell Lightning in preparation of the upcomming season .

Motorcycles- I have a 2012 Honda Rebel and a Harley 2010 Sportster Nightster.

Music- I have an addiction to vinyl records and I spend way way too much money on them.

I play the mandolin and guitar.

I also coach lacrosse year round. This year the 6th graders will learn new grotesque vocabulary and learn how to hit someone with a cut down 5ft D pole.

I also have a pretty ridiculously large collection of Garbage Pail Kids that is always growing as I seek out rare finds.

I'm learning about saltwater fish tanks now, as that is a hobby I intend to get into when I find the time.

Mini Saltwater coral reef tanks.
Those salt water reef tanks will put ya in the poorhouse quick if ya dont know wtf your doin & i didn't , i tried setting up a 1,000 gallon acrylic tank & doing the whole reef business , i
had $20k into the set up & never got it to the point it could sustain healthy shit .

Ended up turning it into a fresh water system & stocking it with Black Piranha , had a giant fresh water lobster in the tank too & he was a mean fuker , he stood watch & whenever one of the Piranha would get too close he'd snatch it up with his claw & rub it in the gravel & start eating on it , i tried throwin a giant red belly piranha in with the blacks & he didn't last 30 seconds , they buzz sawed his ass with a quickness ,the blacks are the meanest fish on earth & illegal as hell .

I wish i woulda started alot smaller & worked my way up to the giant reef , i ended up loosing about $10,000 when everything died off .

I built my whole setup by hand. Made my own overflow, built my own sump complete with sections, bubble reducing baffles, etc. Plus, I started with a 3 gallon pico reef...I had no interest in fish, and was only interested in Corals...And with such a low bioload, a pico reef tank seemed like an awesome low cost starter setup.

You gotta remember, it's about $100+ per gallon when all is said and done...So your 1000 gallon costing 20k is a little high, but not out of the range of the ordinary for those looking to get serious into the hobby.

It pays to do good DIY work...I joined a reef tank forum and hung out in the "projects" section for a few months before I even ordered my first tank...

No shit , what table are you running to spin them ? I run a Mcintosh Mc-10 in my main system .

I also collect vinyl but only 200 gram audiophile pressings , ive got 1,000's of 180 gram pressings , not a cheap hobby for sure .

Are you also into audiophile grade hifi gear ?

How many years ago was this? It's gotten a lot more affordable in the past ten years. I dunno, I did a TON of research before setting up a tank, so I thoroughly knew what I was getting myself into.

Damn, ballin' if you can drop 10k on a fish tank. Nicely done, sir!

Its been about 15 or 16 yrs ago when i had the 1st tank made , the fuker got a hair line crack in it while they were putting it in the wall so they had to make a 2nd tank .

We had well over $50k into the room in tanks , reptiles & related gear , we had all sorts of reptiles , the coolest was a Savanah Monitor lizard named Rosie , he had a leash & harness & we'd take him for walks in nice weather , he was a friendly little guy , we had Pac Man frogs that ate mice & rats, Water Monitor , Tegu Monitor , Caiman , Burmese Python & an Albino Burmese , Reticulated Python , Pine Snakes , all non venomous except for the frogs .

The Pac Man frogs secreted a chemical where if you licked its back you'd have an acid trip , i never tried licking one cause they have big ass teeth & will take a chunk out of ya , they quit selling them cause kids were getting hurt licking them .

No need to insult a musical genre that has been going strong for nearly a quarter of century just cause you dont like one junglist, especially comparing it to trap. its pretty disrespectful to those whove worked so hard to make it what it is. no need man.
And im afraid its an addiction not a hobby.
