That may have more to do with the grower(s) than the light............honestly can't think of how the new BML spydr 1000 won't run hot.Not impressed with any BML grows I've seen.

Passive cooling and heat usually reduces efficiency. That may have more to do with the grower(s) than the light............honestly can't think of how the new BML spydr 1000 won't run hot.
That Heliospectra can get now for 2 grand. cheaper than the bml and illumitex and AT600. Canopy coverage equal though? I doubt it!@JimmyIndica
The heliospectra is the most interesting imho, the AT is probably most desirable based on the results of a certain member.
The BS/Illumitex are either underpowered or get hot, going off of past reviews, but used known diodes, which is good.
CLW uses unknown bins that are Cree?
The lumigrow hasn't changed in almost ten years
The black dog and kind ............
The Heliospectra is the most un-affordable, but it does some things and they don't seem shy about telling what's inside.....
AT Nichia,Meanwell.....
And longevity.............IDK why they doubled up the bars/wattage on the same "chassis"? get your oscillating fans ready!lolPassive cooling and heat usually reduces efficiency.
For the RX or LX?? to very different beasts imoThat Heliospectra can get now for 2 grand. cheaper than the bml and illumitex and AT600. Canopy coverage equal though? I doubt it!
And of course that but at the pace of efficiency advancement and decreases in LED prices, who would use it long enough to wear it out.And longevity
I believe it was the LX for 1999. LX is 630 and RX 315 Same chassis and software capabilities? And longevity.............IDK why they doubled up the bars/wattage on the same "chassis"? get your oscillating fans ready!lol

I think it was Greengenes who posted a discount code for the AT 600 the other day which was worth 20% off = $2000.That Heliospectra can get now for 2 grand. cheaper than the bml and illumitex and AT600. Canopy coverage equal though? I doubt it!
I noticed the grow style suited the BML with short plants. Lets see some penetration numbers and a comparison with 5,6 or 7 foot tall plants.Funny you guys bring up bml...
I haven't got to watch it yet...internet here sucks. This is the only video uploaded...and no updates as of yet...so...
That is a good deal for that!I think it was Greengenes who posted a discount code for the AT 600 the other day which was worth 20% off = $2000.
I just woke up,anything happen.Bullshit don't sleep on indy

I agree...one should do two grows, each suited to one of the lights.I don't understand the comparison between DE HPS and BML,a green house light that's built for raw power, coverage and penetration up against a LED light that I doubt has serious penetration when raised to evenly cover a 4x4 area and you put them over a SOG with short plants. Seems like a rigged comparison unless you do a second grow with taller plants. I know the LED should give a product with superior quality with the broader spectrum.
cheaters as usual http://sports.yahoo.com/news/deflating-feeling--report-puts-patriots-on-defensive-over-footballs--culture-since-spygate-scandal-080638511.htmlIf your new to LED and need a light, ask Tom Brady what he used to light up the colts- 45 to 7!!! Go PATS all the way!.
Sorry guys, couldn't resist one more
