It is much more than that. It is an Advertisement for Isalm. It is warning that 5 times a day, the thought police are watching you, that your neighbors will report you. It is an annoying reminder of what we are up against. You cannot call Christians to prayer in Public funded schools and Duke takes Federal Money. Christians cannot say, Praise God in class, but Muslims can say Allah is great every time they pause for breath.

Catholics have these round the clock prayer times, Vespers and such, called the Offices. But, only in Islam is there this public warning that you must do it.

I just heard they backed down. No call to prayer. And I heard that it was just one person that suggested it.

it was supposed to be an attempt to foster understanding and religious plurality, fostering inclusiveness and tolerance, rather than the hatred and intolerance you spam.

and unlike what you stated earlier, it was not to be 5 times a day, everyday. it was to be done once a week on friday.

You're exactly right. The rhetoric being spread against Muslims these days is just like what was going on in a lot of places, not just Germany, leading up to WW2. It seems almost as though blowhards are getting paid to beat war drums on the internet.

Spinoza and the age of enlightment, with as keypoints criticism on the intolerance of religion and the bs of god as a being, is already one of 50 mandatory topics in dutch schools for kids. Time we start doing that for immigrants too and debrainwash that desert nonsense out of them.
