They sure are handy, but in over seven decades I never found one that didn't eventually leak. Wish there was, because I would feel like I died and went to heavenPassive system, and why not quick disconnects? Im using hydraulic body and coupler not the air connectors.
Ever walk thorough a factory at night and listen to the air leaks, or notice that the hydraulic equipment shelf is always oily?
A high pressure hydraulic coupler is not necessarily better for low pressure gases than a pneumatic coupler and can be worse.
I don't see them as a flashing red hazard sign, as long as you always have an isolation valve behind them so that you don't have to leave them under pressure for extended periods.
