Boycot lift

I totally agree. But the fact is it is classified as such and you can't advertise for tobacco why can they give points out for an illegal substance???? I'm being sarcastic it's just hard to show on here. Any way my point is the government says it's worse than tobaco and alcohol which is complete lies by the way. But turns a blind eye to people receiving points which promotes this narcotic (according to the gov)and illegal to promote the use of an illegal substance. Hints laws being broken. Promoting is advertising!!!

Peace

okay so lift points are one thing, they are given by lift which as far as anyone can tell is not related to any LP, but has anyone noticed what MARICANN is up to? they are directly providing "reward points" for discounts off their own products lol like tim hortons loyalty points haha wtf

  • Earn 500 reward points redeemable against future purchases (1 reward point for every dollar spent) and receive up to 15% off your next MariCann Order.

I'm pretty much Ok with anything that helps patients afford their meds.

But does that really help ns? I mean I keep thinking about how big my script is and my calculations with these discounts and " compassionate" pricing would put me in the poor house in very short order.
Every little bit helps. I get what you're saying for sure. But I also don't see anyone else offering me a chance to make my medication more affordable.

Too bad I have to go through a bunch of phony reviews to get to your legit review. I would not spend a minute on Lift due to its bias reviews on not only strains but, the whole Canadian mmj situation (doctors, dispensaries, clinics). I used to go on Lift everyday to read MMPR reviews until I found out that they deleted most of the initial reviews when the site was starting to run. None of the new reviews were negative and that was way before the Lift points, seems to be a website in disguise for Lps, in my opinion.

Isn't sending reps around to doctors advertizing as well. Yes/no ??
I'm mean they are trying to sway doctors to their company. Seems wrong to me. They are saying essentially to a Doctor that we are better than the other LP's, so recommend us to your patients. That's advertising to me.
What gifts are these Doctors given?

They're all phony reviews, because no one in their right mind who actually NEEDS and UNDERSTANDS medical cannabis would ever give these shitty LP's a positive review! Just some stupid kids being fleeced for their lunch money because they think smoking weed is 'cool'. Medical Marijuana isn't about what kind of frosty nugs you buy from Till-Hay, it's about good medicine you've learned to breed and grow yourself that helps you with your actual medical needs! Literally nothing in the MMPR is of true medical quality, therefore all the reviews are fake, or done by idiots, unless they are negative. But do they even allow negative reviews, or do they just delete them? I'd like to see them prove they aren't owned by some huge corporation, hiding behind some anonymity .

I'm with ya anthing that helps patients afford there meds. But while they help patients with a small bread crumb of help and keep the whole loaf for themselves!! Is the problem. If you get rewarded for reviews of a product this is called promotional advertising.

Peace

They call it 'investing in medical education' lol A kickback by any other name would smell just as shitty http://www.tweed.com/blogs/vault/16610192-investing-in-medical-education

It's a shame this is how doctors in Canada are learning about medical marijuana, from these dope-pedllers like Tweed who grow the shittiest weed in the world. Why can't a DG go and explain TRUE medicine to a doctor? I would literally prefer to buy some MexiSwag or shitty BC Biker weed than an LP.

why can't Dr's get the info themselves? they all say it's so bad for you & not medicine. well there must be studies to show that...or maybe all the studies have shown it IS medicine & they can't use the studies as ammo so they say there are not enough studies or enough research...but they market all kinds of pharma that is REALLY bad for you. there was just a class action for that fertility medication that caused birth defects. when Valium came out it was touted as a wonder drug...whoops on both of those. red food dye was OK and now it's not.
we have all that kind of information but nothing on MMJ???!!! i call complete & utter BS

I went to my family doctor about a month ago and saw a pamphlet there for CanniMed lol. He wasn't and another doctor was filling in for the day so didn't have a chance to ask him about it. I think he might be pro as when he was doing my ICBC accident report a few years back he asked he if I drank and did drugs. I said I smoke weed when go hiking/walking trails as it helps with my herniated disk when walking up hill which can be pain full on long steep trails.

Hello everyone.

My name is Zach and I am a developer at Lift. Perhaps I can clear up a couple things.

- We are 100% not affiliated with producers, and are just regular people. The points program is something completely funded by us in an attempt encourage detailed reviews. Points can be used for a purchase in our own store, or a redemption on a strain purchase from an LP (which we also foot the bill for).
- While it's possible there are shills, as someone who works closely on the code I've never seen any indicators of shill accounts. Most of our highest posting members are on our Facebook/Twitter groups who are all just regular people like you and me.
- If Canadian patients only had the option of purchasing from dispensaries legally, than our site would cater to the dispensary industry. We have no agenda. Our primary concern is connecting patients with doctors and producers, and having them make informed decisions.
- We've included several features on reviews such as batch numbers, pictures, medicinal ratings, as well as detailed member profiles to help increase the transparency of our reviews and our members who leave them.
- Of all reviews I've seen, only a small handful have been removed in the last year, all of them were vulgar one liners where the person didn't include other details

If anyone has suggestions on how we can improve transparency give us a shout. Also feel free to leave a negative review yourself and earn points, or view some others by filtering for, "least popular strains" on our strain search page.

Who pays Lift? or how does Lift fund their points program?
