Epic run! Hope the smoke has some serious pay off for you mate. It all boils down to the bud in the end. Hope it bowls you over. I find most Gage gear very relaxing and easy on the heart.

Yeah I took a little sample, seemed nice and chill. Had great flavour threw the vaporizer too.

Ok, so I had some issues with these gals a little early, but since they didn't come back I am going to take it as I fucked up and retract any bad things I had to say.

I have beautiful plants from the GSOG seeds, just flower your suspected males cause you never know.

The effects are great, nice stone no raceyness. Good flavor even after a short time drying, I took some nugs last Wednesday off the one plant and have been smoking them since as they dry. Quality herbs here.

Frosty as fuck, great smell so sticky. I brushed em up against my arm when I took em out and my arm is shiney. Couldn't get a good pic of it though :)

yield is low but so was veg time, I got clones of both plants, which were nearly identical, one was slightly darker colour in flower and slightly more frosty. I've been smoking the less frosty one. I wanted to let the shiney one finish fully. Both stretched the same had the same type structure leaf shape.

I'm trimming after they dry, it's going to stink up my house far to much to do it fresh. Lots of bubble material.

Also finished Blue Tara and TER pics in Bodhi thread.

Damnit, these pics work when I open in new tab, let me know if they are working for you guys or not and I'll fix em if need be.

Awesome run bro glad everything worked out for you. Those pix you posted aren't showing so you may have to repost them. I can't wait to do my Gage run. Gonna have nothing but Gage going as I have a few different strains now. Can't wait to see finished product. Peace

So out of 2 females, I got two different phenos, Structurally similar at first but clones are showing quite the differences one pheno is growing way faster then the other and throwing all sorts of funky tri-leafs, one had more visible trichome coverage and completely different smell. When I say way faster I mean It's 3x the size of the other pheno which I'm thinking about chopping. The difference in smoke isn't worth this other one taking the amount of time it's taking.

The one that smelled like black licorice still does, and is probably the stronger of the two, it was the one with more trichome coverage.

The other smells of sour grapes, oddly enough eh? :) Less trichomes. Still very good smoke

I got pitiful yields but that's 100% my fault had them transplanted a day or two before flower they should have vegged for at least 1-2 more weeks and I would have doubled my yield at least.

Very strong smoke grade A in my opinion. Keep in mind I'm not in a legal area , The black licorice pheno was picked about a week early I'd say, but still great smoke. A little paranoia-ish but that's probably due to the harvest window.

I absolutely hate black licorice, but this shits strong enough that if it's the faster pheno I will still run it for a while :) and like I said it was taken a week or so early so it may still transform it's flavour profile a little bit when given a little bit longer.

Dried nug shots will be up when I get some work done :)

I am also not too sure about licorice taste in herb. Not too fond of the stuff myself eww. Could be aniseed as opposed to licorice?... Give it a whiff after I mentioned it and let me know. The aniseed flavor is something I am tracking for some pretty strange reasons...

Well to be frank, it actually smells like black licorice lol... Fascinating. Reason I find it so interesting is that smell/taste is what the Transkei land races are like.... And they carry it over very well, along with mint flavors... Durban Poison was a Transkei I think. Mental to see how far that influence goes.

Sucks having limited space eh. I have had to let go of more than I care to think about. Learning about bonsai mothers now, a bit of work but keeping mums in a shelf system is pretty attractive to me right now

That sounds very interesting to me too Hamish. Thing is what about those strains that have rapid veg growth. You will be pruning the hell out of it everyday prolly just to keep it small. Let me know what you come up with.

Far as i am finding out you are right, weekly root pruning, constant re potting, pruning, all part of keeping bonzai mums apparently. For KEEPERS only it seems lol

I figured those types of problems would arise. More work than I can handle fareal. Just prolly gonna get a mother tent and when they get too big air layer the main stalk and cut it. Head has a great video of that being done in this thread. That'll be best for me as my time is already swamped with work and all the plants I got now.

Could keep em under a weaker light to reduce the veg growth maybe? I've been keepin' a little SBA in a 5 gallon pot n taking cuts off it, but even under a cheap LED unit this thing is growing a little too fast n i've had to prune away quite a few branches that could have been nice cuttings, but don't have the room for more atm...thinking maybe a T5 would be better
