Making a Closed Loop System. Need a little help with details.

I pretty much know what the system will look like. I have already purchased PTFE hoses and Quick Couplings to go on the collection and solvent container.

My next move right now is buying the parts to make a Solvent container.

Ill be using a 6'' x 6'' Welded Base TC spool.
6'' x 1 1/2 '' reducer lid with a locking valve thats good for 1k psi.
All TC fittings will be HighPressure Clamps.

To the experienced Closed Loop Runners, How much butane can this tank safely hold?
I understand that temps have a factor in the tanks pressure but it will be kept refrigerated.

What are the best gaskets to use on this tank?? PTFE? VITON? or BUNA?

My tamisium tank which is 4 inches round and 4 inches tall holds 400 grams tops.
Not sure this is helpful or not.
About other questions I haven't a clue.

A 6 x 6 welded bottom is hard to find right now. Im thinking about just going with an open ended spool with high pressure clamps. What do you guys think??

Whether it has a clamp on the top or both ends is moot, it is the clamping system on either end that limits the rating on the spool assembly.

The rating on a 6" high pressure clamp assembly is 300 psi at 70F and 200 psi at 250F. I used them for the Lil Terp tank without issue, but they don't meet DOT requirements for shipping.

Sorry, can't help you on how much it holds as my 6x6 spool was used for collection on my mk3.

If you're just putting in the freezer or something around those temps, I'd say viton and you're fine. Anything like Dry Ice i'd go for PTFE/Tuf Steel.

I think you'd be fine on your design, but why not just buy a reclaim cylindar for a fraction of the cost? Wanting to run the system like a sweetleaf style passive? Could probably afford two cylindars for cost of solvent tank build and run one cryo and one warm for a pressure assist with same results.

Passive system, and why not quick disconnects? Im using hydraulic body and coupler not the air connectors.

Its going to be like a sweet leaf style passive. Dewaxing column for sure. inline Sight glass n butterfly valve. etc.

The collection base i haven't really decided weather to go 6'' or 8''

I was thinking about going 8.. more surface area on the bottom might make for an easier clean out and faster reclaim.
I ordered a 3 piece stainless 316 ball valve for the solvent tank I'm building. Locking handle is a must lol.. stainless ball valve..jpg

Im looking for an adapter that goes from that 3/4 ball valve. Needs to be 3/4male x 1/4 Male NPT. Is the threads inside this 3/4'' valve compatible with 3/4 JIC threads?? Im a little confused in the thread area of these fittings. Forgive me.

For dewaxing I'm guessing its better to be able to put the filter before the shut off instead of just on the top of the collection chamber. Can someone confirm or correct this. thanks.
