looking for advice

My first grow ever. The best I can tell this is bagseed from the white chocolate strain. I was planning on using the manifolding technique from nugbucket but l, in my very inexperienced opinion, think these plants look rather healthy and I know the smoke it came from was outstanding. My problem is i'm not sure what the best way to proceed is and I certainly don't want to screw it up. Any comments will be well received. Thanks in advance.

Since this is your first grow, Keep It Simple. They look great, so just keep on doing what you're doing.
Don't top, don't LST, don't supercrop, don't SCROG, just let them go.

When you have a few grows under your belt, and have done some online research, then decide on an "alternative" growing method.

I don't know how much room you have, but I'd say let them get about 18 to 24 inches (nice and bushy like the are now), then flip to 12/12, they should reach about 3 or 4ft.

Have fun

Thanks for the reply. Part of the reason I'm asking for the advice is exactly what you suggested. It's hard to sit on my hands and not try and fiddle with these everyday but I am learning patience everyday. As you might be able to see I was starting the manifold process on one of them and trimmed the first two nodes off. At that point I decided to stop because they look wonderful and I don't really want to mess up God's wonderful design. A couple questions: Did I hurt the plant I trimmed in terms of overall quality and (as my goal is quality over quanity) Are there processes I can use that still enhance quality without disturbing the natural growth of the plants?
Extra Info:
- using coco coir w/perilite
-general hydroponics floraseries performance pack

why not study from a book instead of being troll food?

Look to the color of your bulbs
as IMHO your plants are squat
get used to imparting grow data
should you be seeking help here or elsewhere
as the info here is
Blue(cool whites) make shorter internodes where as
Red (warm reds)light makes the internodes further apart

top them and learn now ..... This is a good time to learn.....now !!!

they look lovely by the way:)

top two nodes down :) trust me there's no time like the presence to learn :)

What is your experience level? Rookie

Equipment: 1) Type and wattage of lights. I started with a Vitalume cfl (125W, 6400K, 8000 lumens) with lightwave reflector. Then moved up to a 210 watt dual fluorescent tube (210W,6400K, 20000 lumens). I am planning on purchasing the pioneer viii bloom fixture (8-54W T5 bulbs, 2900K, 40000 lumens) for flowering. (Still debating on getting a HID light for flowering although it appears the T5 route would provide less risk)
2) Distance from tops? 4”
3) Reflector type? Polished Aluminum
4) Is there a consistent fresh air supply? Yes
5) Do you have an exhaust fan and a circulation fan? Yes
6) What are the bulb wattages, kelvin ratings, and schedule? Answered above, 24/7

Medium:
7) Specific brand and type of soil. Cyco Coco Pearl
8) Size of container. 6” mesh bottom pot with 10” deep vinyl saucers
9) Did you use peat pucks (or similar) to root clones or germinate seedlings? I used a germination kit made with coco.

Nutrients and Water:
10) Source of water? (tap, bottled or filtered) Tap
11) Method of checking water ph. Water Test Kit(drops)
12) Method of adjusting water ph. I have PH up and down.
13) Specific brand and N-P-K ratio for each bottle. List dosages (quantity per gallon) and current feeding schedule. I use the General Hydroponics FloraSeries Performance Pack. I have been following the schedule on the box. Right now I am in my fourth week and using the late vegetative stage amounts. I am adding General Hydroponics CalMag with every watering. I use nutrients every other watering.
14) How often are you watering between feedings, and how much per watering? I use about a quart per plant. Although just transferred to the 6” pot so I’m assuming my water amount should increase but am not sure by how much.
15) Any additives or tea's? (Superthrive, CalMag, molasses, Mother's Earth...) I use a CalMag supplement with every watering.
16) Are your ph levels stable, or do they fluctuate? Ph levels are assumed stable but I am using a color chart and not a digital meter.
17) What is your ingoing water's ph? ...your runoff ph? If the question refers to PH of tap water I do not test this nor do I test the runoff PH. Is this an important part of the process?18) Do you foliar feed? If so, with what, how often, and at what time do you spray? What is foliar feed and is it beneficial for quality?

Your Growroom:
19) Indoors or outdoors? Indoors
20) What size of closet, room or hut? They are currently located in a 10’x20’ room and will be moved into an un-purchased 4’x4’ grow tent.
21) What are the temps and humidity levels while lights are on? ...With lights off? With the lights on the temp is approx. 75 degrees although that is a guess as I do not measure the temperature in the grow area. The room temperature is kept at 70. Humidity is assumed to be about 50% but I do not measure this.
22) Have you seen signs of insects in the growroom? There are no signs of insects in the grow area and the structure has routine pest control.

Strain:
23) What strain are you growing? (Indica dominate or Sativa dom?) I’m almost positive it’s White Chocolate (Chocolope x White Moonshine) which is a Sativa dominant strain. It certainly gave a strong sativa type high.
24) From seeds or clones? Bagseed
25) Is this an autoflower strain? I do not believe so but since I am a rookie I really don’t know.

Vostek-Is this the grow data you are suggesting I include. Also, could you elaborate on your opinion that my plants are squat. That statement in itself is not useful. I am also confused on you light comments. Isn't short internodes the goal?

FYI: I have spent many hours reading mostly online material as books on this topic are hard to come by. I am hoping to have people share their experience with me that I may have greater success. This is the reason why I am on this site in the first place. I'm all in for an intelligent conversation to better my understanding of cannabis botany.

Welcome to the club lazy good info. Looks like your doing good. They appear to be indica. How much growth are you getting per day?

Do you foliar feed? If so, with what, how often, and at what time do you spray? What is foliar feed and is it beneficial for quality? You don't need to foliar feed You can stop using the superthrive. Use a fertilizer with a balanced npk for veg

I just transferred into the new pots about 5 days ago. Once they got over the initial shock (about 1/2 day) I would say I'm getting a new node a day and the internodes are in between 1/2" and 3/4". I'm not really sure how to determine and communicateheight and growth as more experienced growers would.

Are the nodes equally spaced apart or do they stagger one side higher than the other? Im asking because not all plants like to be mainlined.

What are some of the criteria for determining strain viability for manifolding (mainlining). All I have found so far is if its develops a single primary cola its a good candidate. Do you think there might be a better way to maximize quality and quantity. I must say from looking at the mainlining tutorial I have grown quite fond of it even though I have zero experience. Any other tips or tricks that would be helpful would be very appreciated. By the way love the name.

Something fast growing would be helpful because mainlining will add about a month on the veg time. I'm a big fan of cow manure, large pots, fimming, the shake and twist or the stem smash, scrog is good but I don't do it because I run too many strains. I don't like to bend or kink my branches. Many techniques, start with one for now see how it goes. https://www.rollitup.org/t/water-only.851064/

I also read that the temp difference between the day and night cycle contributes greatly to internode distance. Do you agree with this. I do understand the light spectrum and the kelvin temperature quite well from studying online information and also from the education I received (physics based). I just have very little knowledge of how this interacts with the growth of cannabis other than 6500k is good for veg and 2900k or maybe lower if good for bloom. I added what I thought would be the grow data you were talking about to my thread. I certainly am not trying to be an idiot but I am a noob and on here to hopefully get some top shelf grows under my belt. High quality cannabis is the only type worth my time. So I am trying to get as much quality information as I can. So if you have the time and willingness I would love to hear more from you.

Good luck with that he always runs and hides when I come around. He takes a couple jabs at me every once in a while so I respond appropriately and you don't hear from him again for a week. Hes on my troll list.
