Growing outdoors in pretty decent sized 3 gallon pots with coco perlite and vermiculite. What are the bare minimum nutrient necessities? I live in a place where there is absolutely no foreign nutrients what so ever so i will have to formulate my own or used a basic 20 20 20 NPK hydroponics nutrient along with some other nutrients that make up for the nutrients needed by weed is it enough

Can you get the following:

Potassium nitrate
monopotassium phosphate
magnesium sulfate
calcium nitrate
iron sulfate

If you find those easily, you can make just about any hydro formula.

Whether that 20-20-20 mix will work well for hydro depends on whether the nitrogen is sourced as nitrate or urea and calcium provided as calcium nitrate.

Jack's 20-20-20 is water soluble. It was recomended to me by a well-known grower. I got a bag about a week ago. One of the most versatile fertilizers ive ever used. Its got all the macros in there too. Nutri leaf miller 20-20-20 is good to. feed once a week or two then flush with water. I like to let my soil dry up pretty good before i start feeding them after a flush. Church haze brought up a good point. You can have all the nutrients in the world but You need it available for the plants too use. Watch your ph with the 20-20-20

What I'm using is a very basic hydroponics water soluble fertilizer got another one that delievers on the micro nutes as well. How often would I need to flush? And can I start the seedling outside from day 1?

You can germinate your seeds indoors or out depending on the climate of were you live I like to propagate my plants inside. the elements were I live can be pretty harsh for plants that are still in diapers. if you do germinate outside find and area that gets enough sun but protected from wind and rain then transplant to were you want. If you get a small piece of 1" sqaure chicken wire and and form a circle around your veggging plant it will protect it from critters

as far as flushing it depends on your medium and I think theres a whole thread on here about the topic. after every flush I let my soil get pretty dry you can pick your container up and feel by weight then I re start my feeding. then flush and dry every two three weeks max

I don't know what kind of set up indias hope has but that is true. sometimes i dont flush until pre harvest. I only do this for taste if I'm not all the way organic And using hydro nutes i tend to over flush.

Just try a side by side. One flush v. one not flushed. What you'll find is you deprive the flushed one of vital growth in the last week or two and it has no effect on taste. The taste comes from a proper dry and cure.

I only use flushing if my girls are some sort of imbalance or problem. Since switching to Jacks 20-20-20, I've never had to flush.

I'm gonna do that. I recently started growing in soil. Ive always grown hydroponically. I use jacks 20-20-20 as a foiler spray in my dwc setups. I love the stuff I wish someone would have recommended it to me years ago.
Thanks for the info. What kind of soil mix do you use?

I've been very content with Happy Frog cut with 30-40% perlite and adding dolomite lime for additional calcium. I find anything over 10 weeks seems to run into calcium deficiency without the lime at times.

Basic setup just coco/perlite/vermiculite. Just started germinating an auto super hash along with an auto blue tetracel. Only using on 20-20-20 water soluble basic gardening along with one soil mix ammendment for the micro nutrient needs
