quick questions guys, I've just placed my bud into some glass jars after a nice dry, it's my first grow so I'm wondering what I do next? what temps should I keep the room I'm curing in and when should I open them for air? like everyday? 12 hours?

I usually let mine air dry for up to a week then put it in a canister with a sealed top. Open it up everyday for maybe 15-30 minutes and let set for a short while and then seal it back up to allow the moist air to escape and bring in some fresh. Can't really remember how long, it's usually smokable after another week and by then your popping the top every day anyway to get some smoke. I think the trick is you just don't want it to get so dry that it crumples into dust. Can put an apple slice in their to rehydrate if it does.

I agree, uncured new weed is usually harsh. Sounds like your doing it right. Just open up for 15 minutes to let the old air out and reseal the new air to balance out the moisture into the buds. Other folks may do it different, but works fine for me. My bud usually lasts a long time, I only smoke eves so, it always get too dry before I use mine all up.

Never tried that? No issues with mold? I do use a canister that light can not get in. It's like for sugar or flour.
no issues. Mine are dry when they go in the jar. Granted moisture does redistribute from the center of each bud. You want decarboxylation to take place. Which is the exchange of gases so to speak. Release of.co2 and chlorophyll depletion and thca and cbn converting to THC. - that's why buds are more potent after cure. Also polymerization of terpenes takes place after a long cure. Terpenes are everything..

LOL Thanks. Maybe I will try once a week next time because it sounds like you know what you're talking about. Thanks for that even though I admittedly still don't have a clue!
