boiling at the end is to kill the roots and starve them of 02, not to boil off any nutes.
Since when did they start breathing from the cut stem?..
Thought the theory is sound, method is two steps back, one step forward..
And u got me bout boiling nutes, well,my dyslexia too :-)..

Are you familiar with mineralization? Through this process microbes convert organic inputs in to plant available nutrients, which have the exact same chemical makeup as synthetic nutrients.

So if you're in the camp of flushing synthetic nutrients out of the plant, then it stands to reason that you would support flushing organically derived nutrients from the plant as well.

I don't care how long you've been growing, or posting on pot forums. That doesn't make the advice you're peddling any more factual.

Best quality saffron goes for around 5k a lb.
No flushing there either.
that's cool.... ive never been to ak but I know there isn't a lot of people there..... how many people actually grow... then out of those guys how many people can actually grow topshelf.... cuzz you know to people on connoseuir levels the smoke report might be excellent on the smell, trichomb coverage, trim, potency, cured... and even on the taste for the most part... but if it makes my nose and throat hurt and gives me a headache potentially that's gonna bring it down a notch for me in my book... lol anyway I hear gas is real expensive up that way too..... beautiful country though atleast from what ive seen of it on Alaska the last frontier and other shows ive seen it on... nothing like that this way... just concreat in some parts and cornfield in the rest... closest thing to that is michigans up and that's not really all that close to me and im sure pales in consideration.... yes I am... that's why when u use chems ur feeding the plant directly... when doing organic ur feding the microbes in the soil that in turn feed the plant... u don't think I knew that??? lmao

You're right, there aren't a lot of people up here compared to the lower 48 & that tends to weed out a lot of suckers and give us a bit more elbow room, but gas/diesel will kill ya!

I'm pretty familiar with top shelf - good commercial salmon fishing buddies from Ca, Or & Wa come up every year & we trade out (I like variety). I'm organic & a no-flusher, most of what they bring is an equal split between organic & hydro of various strains.
We always trade straight up & theirs doesn't get me any more than my own, I just like the different taste/head I get so I think i do know (and grow) good bud.

Do me a favor and at least read the first post in the thread below before you shut me down. :) Heck, I even printed the thing the first time I read it - there's a lot of really technical info to digest including the certs which are required reading as well to ensure you're not being fed a line.

It never hurts to look at the other side of a coin.
