Ok panhead, you are a moderator. I post a court case of importance to patient safety. The usual bunch comes in and dogpiles, posting all sorts of inflammatory nonsense, attacking me personally and the only thing you can do is come in and complain that your doctors use an electronic medical records to record your visits? And what's more you join in? How about doing your job and moderating these attacks?

Hey doc. In another thread there is a long time member asking for help with a loved one. He could use some advice. I'm no doctor. I'd suggest he looks for a strain or extract that is about 2/3 cbd/thc. That is based on my research. Never been to college. I also know from my research that stopping cancer with extracts requires lot of extract. Lots and lots. Probably more than the law suggest and by all means more than one can easily produce within legal numbers. But I'm not a doctor. I'm a grower. If I were a doctor maybe I'd refer them to a local grower that specialized in that type of therapy. Most of my strains are more for pain or anxiety and based on personal opinions, not a doctors.

In a legit doctor patient relationship you would know what strains and what techniques to suggest, you would be posting in other threads. Ones with medical help.

On another note. I'm not a doctor, or scientist. But how the hell are we supposed to find quality representations of the traits people need with 12 plants per patient. Bullshit. Seems you would be in favor of scientific method. It takes thousands of plants to lock in certain traits. And slowly but surely the people who give a shit about what is actually healing people are getting this done. No help from you.

Hey Taco- I'm an expert on the medical use of marijuana for a variety of conditions, and a court recognized expert on the bonafide dr/pt relationship. I am not an expert on strains and never pretended to be. So direct your question to someone that can answer detailed information on specific strains, such as a caregiver/grower like yourself.

Now as far as your friend needing some medical help, they are welcome to PM me and ask.

Sorry on the delay, you are on ignore and I didn't notice your post come through. I won't be looking for a response, as I won't see it.

My job ! Im here at Rollitup for free .

My JOB is seeing doctors full time , im a 12% body 3rd degree burn victim with a broken back & a host of related back injuries ive had multiple surgeries to correct , im also husband & care giver to a wife with advanced RRMS & several other painfull illnesses i cant even spell with spell check .

If i wish to bitch about doctors using I-Pods instead of looking me in the eye with their complete attention while im paying them to address our health issues ive earned that right , in pain & in $ spent .

I was referring very clearly to your job as a moderator if your title is correct. Sorry about your medical issues and those of your wife. Sorry you don't feel that your doctors are showing you the respect you deserve as a patient seeing them for your care. That has nothing to do with how I see my patients or me. It also has nothing to do with the court of appeals ruling this thread is about.

Sorry Pan, just informed you aren't a mod (understandable mistake given your AV) so I retract what I said.

These public records (threads) may not fare well for him making it rain in the courtroom as an expert witness for his wealthy buddies in the future. A quick internet search (due diligence) should expose his conflicts of interest that would be hard to deny, no less his questionable character and adolescent tactics. We may be providing a public service here after all ;)

Hate to be the pointer out of flawed logic but if you are an expert on the use of medical marijuana for a variety of conditions then you would know what strains do what. It's kinda real important. If someone came to you who suffer's from PTSD (A covered condition under the medical marijuana act for Michigan) and you subscribed using marijuana you might want to know what strains are best so as this persons personal physician you'd be better versed in helping him or her then hurting them. Some strains may in fact increase the bad experience of PTSD and even add panic attacks.
I'm no expert, I'm just an asshat that likes to start trouble

You are correct. Sativa strains would cause issues. The exact strain depends on what is available to the patient and is a question for the caregiver. Giving a theoretical answer based on the thousands of strains available with no consideration to what the patient can get would be pointless. I could say 'Charlotte's Web' is best for seizures to a child with seizure's parents, but really, what good would that do unless they were moving to CO.

That is why I don't answer questions like that, each caregiver has their own strains, and the best I can do on my end is suggest general considerations, not specifics. But you already know that, because you asked a question I clearly cannot have the information to answer properly.

Hi Bob,i am not angry at any of my doctors infact the doctor of our's who uses his I-Pod the most i absolutely love , i also understand why he needs to use an I-Pod to maximize patients per hour , the whole I-Pod reference was an example of doctors using technology to speed things up ,help more people & keep costs down .

I also used it to compare with other methods of medicine such as doctors faxing MRI test results to the primary care doc , faxing medical records , faxing prescriptions , using the telephone or skype for consult with other doc's ect , all non face to face interactions which have the possibility of errors , confusion & mix up's resulting in harm to a patient .

I dont see the difference with mail in , phone call , fax or skype cert's , its all just methods of obtaining information or passing information along , i fail to see how Dr Proctor is acting unethical , practicing bad medicine or putting any patients at risk or in danger , ive certified with DR Proctor as well as know him in real life & he is far from unethical ,he works his butt off helping people & he does care , ive witnessed DR Proctor decline to certify quite a few people on various occasions so i know he isnt running a prescription mill for profit .

IMO the whole mj as a scheduled narcotic idea is a farce , not only to users but to doctors as well , let's be real here were not talking about Fentanyl , Oxycontin , Dilaudid or other deadly & highly addictive schedule 2 narcotics , drugs where doctors involvement in its prescribed & monitored use is crucial to patients health & life its pot for gods sake ,the asprin of narcotic drugs .

Do we really need to train doctors in the use of pot ? Im not trying to disrespect you or belittle any medical mj training you've had but once again its pot , even the president of the United States ( Bill Clinton ) figured out how to use pot & not endanger himself .

IMO the whole idea of persecuting doctors over tiny non harmfull details is a waste of time & money as well as disrespectfull to the prescribing doctor & taking a step backwards in pain management .

That case Dr Bod posted was more then somebody just medicating themselves with a few grams of weed every week. He was charged with manufacturing 50 to 450 grams of weed. Just the min. of 50 grams is about 2 oz, don't know about other people but 2 oz lasts me a min of 3 months. I learned long ago how to stretch out my weed so it last longer. I'm also not in as bad shape as panhead I don't believe. I've heard burns are the most painful and are very hard to treat.

PS, Obama has also said he used pot also when he was young and unlike Bill, he did inhale, that was the whole point in smoking it Obama has said

Manufacturing weed isn't the same as just using weed..I believe his legal problems were due to more then just who his doctor was

Don't forget the literal felony prosecutions of third party patients/caregivers whom in turn have been denied protections under this "law" that Dr. Bob is using to market himself here.

They skipped the provisioning center and medibles vote.
Big surprise, they can't even agree on funding road repairs..now we are to have a costly public vote in May to raise the sales tax, what a joke...why don't they just quit and let the people vote on any changes to any laws, it be more fair
