Pineapple Express smoke report

Strain: Pineapple Express from g13 labs 6 plants grown
Growth: roots organic soil
Nutes: fox farm
Flowering time: about 8 weeks from first sign of flower dried for a week cured for 2 weeks.
Smell: I'm bad with smells but I will say for sure not a fruity or sweet smell at all more musky earthy if anything. Certainly not my favorite smell but will stink up a room or car if it's in a Baggie
Yield: yield was pretty good on these every plant was over an ounce and I put a bunch under a light. Nice dense nugs that add up quick.
Taste: again not the best at explaining tastes but I would say pretty similar to the smell not sweet, not that classic skunky dank taste either. Not my favorite again here.
High: definitely not much sativa in this. This is definitely weed that drags you down, I actually stopped smoking weed at all in the morning when I only had this, now I have my white lotus back in for all you bodhi heads.
Potency: I rate this as pretty average potency not earth shattering but will get you high so 6-7.
Duration: my tolerance is extremely high and the best weed I would say gets me high for over 45 minutes but this burns out quick sparking new bowls every 25-30 minutes.
Overall impression: not my taste for sure but it is a fairly strong indica that flowers very fast and yields pretty good. Bag appeal is also pretty good (better than the smoke). Not bad for a cash cropper but not perfect for my garden.

I hope I have better luck than you, I popped my freebie and topped it so it has two tops. She is looking beautiful in veg, I hope I can bring out some more potency on her cuz C quality just doesn't cut it in my room. You feel the same way .

Good luck I grew 6 was really impressed with the consistency and all 6 were beautiful plants was kicking myself for not keeping any clones until I tried them and realized the smoke was not quite up to snuff. Hope you have better luck than I did

I've grown it 3 times in the past 4 years. What I have found is there are definitely a couple of different phenos. The one you grew IS more Indica feeling. The other pheno is very heady to the point it causes what I call "scatterbrain" because it reduces you to a bumbling, forgetful,tripping retard for the peak of the high. some people like that but for me and my OCD it stimulates too much uncontrolled thinking. I like my Sativa doms to have a strong but clear high!! So of the two phenos I have had, the one you are speaking of is easier on my crazy OCD ass!

This basically matches up perfectly with my experience - only two plants in my case though so I thought maybe I got unlucky.

The smell is not good. I really hated that smell. Made it unsmokable for me. Some people didn't mind it. Most people said it was fairly strong. I tried it. I wasn't that impressed, seemed generic indica to me and not overwhelmingly potent in that dept either. My tolerance is really high though. Much better bag appeal in terms of looks. Smell is strong so I guess that's good but it's not to my tastes.

Pretty good yielding plant. Easy to trim.

Definitely more a cash cropper based on my experience although I think you'd struggle to get rid of it in my area which is flooded with higher quality than this IMO.

i would def recommend the sativa pheno. had a beaster smell at like week 4 and i almost kicked it. then when it was done shit had a nice sweet citrus spiced flavor with a good high. had to let it go based on the fact i can buy more seeds, i would by more. i only popped 2...

Glad you found a good pheno in there all I can say is I got 6 very similar girls that did not exhibit the traits you mention so the one you found may be a rare pheno. With that said I can't imagine that from these genetics comes something truly worthy of keeping around if you run some better breeders genetics.

Nailed it! I got the "more indica" this last time and was greatly disappointed in it compared to the other pheno. Luckily that is the only time I got it, maybe the sixth or seventh time I grew it out. If I would have got it the first time I would probably have never tried it again.

i would love to agree but if i felt i couldnt buy this pheno again i wouldve chucked the banana puff. the pheno was borderline keeper but i have too much shit not enough space...was potent tastey and yeilded, cant say that about too many things from seed.

i been running PE for about 4 years now i run under a 600hps and they give me atleast 3oz like fuckin law man .... its never only been a 45 minute high ... usually like 4hrs or so ... you prolly got a bad pheno .. it happens.

Like I said in my first post good cash crop strain but if you smoke top shelf buds hen you know this is not top shelf or anywhere near it.

well 1st of all this strain is never finished in 56 days .. its always a 65 to 70 days ... it don't matter if it takes 14 weeks to finish .. reading the trichs are everything in the finish ... you should have ran them out!!!

the only way PE could possibly be done in 56 days is if you ran the new PE2 its supposed to be a early finisher like 55 days i haven't ran that one though.

Nothing to do with how long it was run for just not high quality smoke, happy for you that you found a nice pheno if there is one that takes 10 weeks from first sign of flowering then that is certainly a different pheno than the 6 I had.

Haha no doubt sir already have the top shelf one Bodhi's white lotus is absolute fire running through another 50 or so seeds always on the hunt for the legendary ganja.

You definitely pulled her early brother, it makes a huge difference and here are a few examples.

With C99 if you pull her early she gives you a nice heady high that isn't overpowering and doesn't necessarily last that long

GDP if you pick her early she doesn't purple up like she is supposed to, and the smell doesn't tend to pick up until the end in my experience

Blue Dream is like a total weak ass strain if you pick her early, but if you take her to the finish she can actually give you a nice balanced high.

If someone else wants to try this strain thinking I messed it up go right ahead but don't say I didn't warn you. Maybe I should make his more clear everyone else that has tried this thinks it's pretty good, I have a lot higher expectations than pretty good and this doesn't get it done. Better than what I could get on the street in my area not nearly as good as what I am capable of growing.

I've had about 5 runs of G13's PE and it's a favorite of mine. I love how it grows out, love the big dense buds, and love the taste of it when cured.

Is it the strongest weed I've grown.....no. Is it the biggest yielding plant I've grown....no. But I love the clean high that last about 2 hours and my customers ask for it by name. It has probably one of the best bag-appeal I've grown in some time.

It'll be in my line-up for some time to come.

Glad that you can tell if my buds are good smoke but I can't. I'm not trying to start a fight with anyone just give my opinion of a strain. Good bag appeal easy to grow big yielder that produces buds that aren't as strong as they look. I am not a cash cropper and I am not a big fan of indica dominant buds so not for me. Not trying to turn this into a pissing contest, not trying to say this strain is complete crap just trying to tell people that have similar expectations what this strain has in store.

I will upload another picture of these things if you want that is a week or 2 past the picture that I have uploaded to show you I have run these many different lengths of time and guess what it's just not a very powerful strain.
