That's fine for states that have legal medical marijuana.....does nothing for other states that still feel all pot is illegal.

The biggest thing they can do in Washington is drop it from the schedule 1 list....THAT would be a game-changer.
When they re schedual it , it will affect medical patients confidentiality. The laws run into each other... Other states in sure will run with legalization for tax money soon enough. Even if federallly legalizes it the state could leave illegal so feds kinda did there part by doing this... More work to do for feds to really clean it up an 'rescedual it whike having medical patients records an names staying private

this is huge..and it can't be re-negged for future generations.
It is a large step.

Unfortunately the provision prohibiting the feds from interfering with states' rights (dats racist!!!) expires on 30 Sep, 2015, along with the FY15 budget. Congress exercised the "power of the purse". It might, or might not be renewed.

Big deal. Bill Clinton made good and appropriate use of a cuban cigar decades ago.
