hey
im a week into my grow
you should go buy like 3 27W CFL bulbs, with like 5500k-6000k
place them around the plants, for maximum growth.
i bought 2 and i love what im seeing, plus i have a tube flourecent.

basically just water it every other day,
transplant it when its a week and a half
and yeah just read more on this site.

have there first pair of leaves grown in yet?

A fan is very useful...helps make the stems stronger.

Cfl's are ok...but i would reccommend getting a few 4' flouro workshop lights, and use the 5000K tubes. I am using 4-4' double tube setups, and plan on getting 2 more...the plants have LOVED it the last few days...and another benefit is that you can actually have the tubes closer to the plants since they dont generate as much heat as cfl's do. Use the cfl's if you want as side lighting.

You will need more light later on...i have 3 plants and seven clones under all i have, and i have no room...4 of the clones are still in the humidity dome.

How many plants you growing? Flowering stage is best if you can use a min 250W HPS, but you can flower using the flouro tubes...with some surprizing results...your yield will be less...but the tricome development is increased. You must use the right light spectrums to achieve max results.

there are 5 plants but were shooting to get just 1 or 2 females...have some more seeds that im wanting to germinate..if i have 3 plants in all what lighting should i use a 250w or 400w HPS?

400W would be optimal...but a 250W for 3 plants would be sufficient, adding side lighting will help increase your yields.

If you haven't already...build a little area for the plants and line it with mylar or panda film...the light reflected back to the plants will be benificial.

hey, i'm the bud growing these with mikedawg, we're thinking of building an enclosure about 2'x3.5' or maybe a 3'x4' if the space is big enough (still gotta do the measurements) but for now its in a little cubby hole thats around 2'x2' with 2 24" flouros we used cactus soil which has sand, pearlite, the proper NPK, and the right pH. we have the lights about 4 inches above the pots, the seeds havent popped out of the soil yet, we just planted the germinated seeds tonight and sprayed them with spring water (no sodium)
