leaf curls?

I've got one plant curling up from the edges and another curling down at the tip. Not sure what's going on? Different strands, no idea what they are either.
The plant was moved in the last week. Maybe a root was damaged during move? But I feel like it had started before it was moved. So I'm hoping some one can shine some light on what's going on here.

Misc info that might be use full?
HPS 150w
currently 14" away from highest point
using AG nutes 1/2 dose

the two that curled under seem to be better and still growing... how ever the one that's curling up on it's edge and I've looked through the books I have and looked on here... and I can't find anything that might tell me what happened. So I can fix it

I have a week old seedling doing the same thing on the same side of two leaves opposite each other (sorry, wife took the camera out of town). Its weird because the leaves are only curling on one side. I have looked all over too and found nothing. So I raised my lights a little and the curl is still there but the plant is growing like crazy. And its in some MG soil so the PH should be ok.

Ok so the under curls appear to be back on track and growing fast as ever. The one is still curling up on it's side and getting worse? Could this be a affect of root damage during a move? I see signs of other leaves curling a little but nothing compared to this guy. I would toss the other ones up to growth, but not this one I'll have another pic on tomorrow wanted to wait till it went through a sleep period. There is a simple answer out there for this no one seems to know. All the books I have read about coloring and curling leaves but nothing about just a random curl like this.

Leaves curling at the edges usually means the plant is trying to cool itself. How are the temps.

my room is 80... the area with light doesn't get hotter then 85 general stays around 82.4
At night it drops to 75...

it's your nutes...stop usiong them immediately or your plant will look like this....miracle grow does the same shit to plants....get new nutes and you will be fine....the leaves that have curled wont recover but all the new growth will be fine....give em a good flush too...btw...the third pic is a healthy plant to compare the second pic to

the nutes will only really affect the one leaf? I don't see any discoloration... it just curls... I have some nutes I'll put a list up later tonight.

depends on the soil.....sometimes I reuse soil so if that is the case i will do it sooner than if I am using new soil...if I am reusin soil I flush it totally out to get rid of all of the nutes...so about 3 weeks after it pops through the soil...maybe four weeks for new soil...but really I go by the size of the plant and you have to watch it for deficiencies. just listen to your plants and they will tell you what they need. :mrgreen:

Thanks for the advice! I have a seedling that sprouted on the 20th. It's doing well and in some MG soil. I know the soil has nutes so I don't know if I can feed it a 1/4 solution yet or maybe wait for the transplant.

wait till its this big then nute it...and remember...when you transplant you will be adding more soil with nutes already in them....so...dont nute right after transplant....you can burn em easily...anyway here is a pic of how big mine are when I nute...and mind...they are in a six inch pot

Hey badass,

Did you ever figure out what was going on with the plant that had the leaves curling up?

I think I have the same problem. Mine looks just like pic #1 & #2.
