Chunky Cherry Malawi are the 10 on the left and 7 Jordan of the Islands, God Bud on the right. The CCM are all pretty healthy and relatively uniform. Not a lot of variation. The one runt/mutant (front row, second from the left) has even caught up. The CCM in the top row, fourth from the left, got a bit root-bound and didn't really enjoy it's transplant experience, but it seems to be chilling out. I think it's a boy.
God bud has a lot of variation. A small crinkle leaf version, very runty and a larger smooth leaf that looks like it could be very productive.
I'm going to call BS on the massive vegging claims. Its a strong vegger but not extraordinary. The biggest plant in the group is the God Bud, front row, third from the right. Overall a more productive strain, but not on an individual basis.
you can tie the plants over, this will make them branch and bush out without topping.Yup,I do not like transplanting unsexd plants into bigger pots,so they stay in 1gal till they show sex, which gives beanpole plants, unless you top, then you got to wait longer till sex shows..and I'm with you,I do not like to cut/top anytime close to flower,or after.
I like to give em a squeeze and "pop the top". Works just as good as the bondage route imho.you can tie the plants over, this will make them branch and bush out without topping.
well i think you have more control over height and in which direction the plants grow in when tying down.i dont like scrogging because the nets get in the way,its fucking annoying.ive made what would have been single cola indicas bush out nice without topping and squeezing branches.same applies to stretchy plants.if you grow in pots, just make holes in the lips of the pots, and use those to tie branches down with string easily.then you get multiple colas like topping, but you dont need to top what would have become the main cola.but at the end of the day,its just about whatever works best for us.we dont all have the same setups,so we need to use different techniques.I like to give em a squeeze and "pop the top". Works just as good as the bondage route imho.
I'm not one for tying the ladies down much but I've had amazing results in doing so. I'm pretty lazy I guess..

Sweet! Is that the shish?
Yeah, she is flowering fast...Sweet! Is that the shish?
I'm diggin' that girls ass man! Any close ups of them ta ta's?
They are good... Base on the way I am set up, I have to go about things a bit differently. I am on a mother hunt. I ended up letting them veg for a little over 60 days, discarded the obvious males and the runts, and cloned up four plants (three are girls for sure, not sure about one of them) and they are sitting in a tray right now. I will take them out in a couple of weeks, send a clone of each plant into the flower room to confirm gender and then veg the best 12 (three or four from each plant) for 60 days and then send them into flower. What's the good word on those Chunky's!?
