Well your happiness is all that matters to you ( naturally it would ) and I'm cool with that. But the high prices are exactly why us other patients knew this MMPR setup would be bad. and it is bad. I bet you'd be happier paying $5 a gram under the old system. Of course you would...and that's why we fight here. That isn't gonna stop Minnow.
Unfortunately even though your happy...your being over charged in general.
They want to make money from you and you illness. Not okay with most of us here.
So get used to that my friend.

I also care that other legitimately-needy patients have access to regulated , quality-assured MJ in an affordable fashion, especially low income earners. I think some LPs have already introduced subsidized schemes which would be impossible in the BM (not sure about MMAR). The strengthening of LPs is the only way that we will be able to get to a place where you're able to bill your MMJ to your employer's drug plan, and this will be a beautiful thing.

Write to your MP, participate in grassroots activism, apply for compassionate pricing from LPs, to name a few things.

I shouldn't have to apply for subsidized anything if I can produce it for next to nothing myself. Oh and I got 1.5oz last week in exchange for watching 2 wonderful kids for a few hours while mom and dad when Christmas shopping. Cost my supplier nothing it was the overages from the last 5pack he grabbed.

I grow apples in the summer. Should I be ridiculing people that waste money on apples in stores? No. And that's exactly the point.
Live and let live.

Ok that's fair enough , and I appreciate the apology and maturity.
I also think that MMJ should be cheaper. Heck everything should be cheaper, because why not?

Unfortunately this isn't a "closet-operation" anymore, and there are "costs of doing business", including adult-wage workers to be paid, pensions, benefits, overheads, TAXES, shareholders, bank loans, insurance, etc. etc.

The prices that you're seeing under the MMPR are essentially the costs of legitimization and standardization via corporatization. Hopefully more corporations will enter the space, competition will heat up, variety will increase, and prices will consequently come down. This is something that I think we can agree on. Until then, Tilray is all there is for those of us not willing to commit a crime by buying off the street, and those of us not able to order large quantities to benefit from volume savings.

Also just as an afterthought, dispensaries aren't exactly charitable organizations (to the best of my knowledge)... and they are funded by profit-hungry shareholders just like everyone else. To venerate one while vilifying the other is quite ridiculous.
You can correct me if I'm wrong but I smell some sorta tie to tiltray or sorry dirt weed. Lol

Peace

Commpassionate prices are not unheard of in the bm I know a grower who would give me my meds free of charge when I was down on my luck. Before I started growing myself which everyone should have the option to do.

Peace

Ya I wonder how health Canada is going to enforce advertising rules when tilray is planting shills

Trailblazers ya that's a good term for them buying up h. A. Weed and relabeling it as medicine.

Us shills get paid in cash, so it's hard for them to ever prove that we shilled.
Some even pay us in "disposed product".

I have a feeling I know who Minnow is. Go to the tilray Facebook page. There's a guy that just loves tilray by the name of Sam Fischer. They write similarly and both think the world of tilray. Also Fisher...minnow...makes sense to me. Either way, Sam is probably happy because as he said on tilray's FB page, his parents pay for his weed so no sweat off his ass if they're getting ripped off. He's also 18 or 19 so virtually no experience with cannabis in general. I don't think he's a shill, just a dumb spoiled brat who doesn't care how he spends his parents money cause really, what ever it takes to smoke legal weed (if you can even call shake weed) right brah?
