Hi Guys,
So I checked cookie mix and she was done enough and I really need the space to move the new girls into so I cut her tonight
Birthday Cake is next and then widow.
Pics in no specific order, trimmed or pre trim, just a few shots I thought were pretty, this grow was even more solid than the last and yield improved. I can't wait to the next time around, will
be my third run of this plant.

Glad to hear yours is doing great! will pop over and see in a few! These pics from this morning right before the lights went out, which is when I always take pics for future ref.

The mom's have all been topped various times, so now I plan on just training them out a bit with a little *up* as they start to go into flower, if like last time it takes the
Animal Cookies *forever* to stop stretching, so I'm allowing wiggle room.

The girl scout cookies, I haven't grown out yet, this will be a first. her stems are much stronger than AC, even in veg AC is weak stemmed, but she puts out nice buds
So I ignore that part. Kinda like my GF is a terrible cook but she has other features I find pleasing :bigjoint: I gave them all silica blast from Botanicare when they were in veg, it seems to
have helped.
All of the training I did has healed and they are already moving up again. ( except for one stalk on the AC I got heavy handed and broke it, but not completely off, so I just left her alone
it's healing and the tip is still healthy. No harm no foul.
I plan on removing the buckets underneath eventually and either replacing with something shorter or just having them on the ground, depending upon how much undergrowth I need to get in
and trim.
I know where I want this to go, now to just drive there with an untraveled map... exciting! *NOTE** in the first post AC and GSC are reversed. I just noticed. here are
updated and correct pics.
The two clones of the cali con 22, are almost ready to go in, there will be only this veg time, waiting on the old AC and ice cream to finish. The moms have been in veg since july, so I
am leaving room for them to get big.

AC - all healed

PF-as you can see here is a clone snip spot, and a bend I made earlier that is already healed and covered over.

I've always trimmed the leaves on my clones,Is how I was taught to do it from my mentor years ago, I figure he's been growing for 30+ years with great success. The way it was explained to me, cutting the tips causes them to
produce roots faster. I don't know if it's true or not, I find my clones do root very fast, so I still do it, also I can tell when new growth happens very easily also.
I'm sure they would root just fine without doing it, I've taken cuttings from other types of plants in the past and never done it. So I guess it's personal pref?
Hope that helps!
Thanks for stopping by also! bongsmilie:peace:

Hi Indica Angel. What a fantastic grow!. Looks like you know what you're doing. :)

I've got a few grows under my belt now, but I'm on my first one now with LED.

Any tips you could offer a first timer with LED would be great!

I really like using them, hmmm a few things I noticed
1) my plants do NOT like them too close too soon, so kinda let them get to know each other and lower them until they are
as close as you want. Some strains stress a little and some do not. but it's obvious when it happens.
2) My plants did not need to be watered as often, took some getting used to.

I'm no expert, still learning, just had my first case of budrot here because I'm in a basement now and didn't add a fan when I knew
I should have.
so I guess that's my last tip, and I guess it's not just LED"s , If you see something in your grow and you think " I really should do xyz" then don't put it off
just do it. I said that for 2 weeks and ended up losing a good chunk of my plant.
I'm honored you'd ask me, I just post pics of my grows because I like opinions and sharing with other people.

Have an awesome day.

Here's a smoke to everyone. fedex finally arrived wheeee!
broke it in with some cookie mix of course! :bigjoint:bongsmilie

HEYHEYHEY RIU!
so I cut cookie mix and she is drying a few days now. I wanted to post a couple pics, she is much better this go round just from
looks alone, she also gave more of a yield than last time. I'm really looking forward to the 3rd grow of her I just flipped to 12/12

That's is very true about the tips being cut off clones. I've had many people who I trust that did side by side comparisons and the cut tip clones rotted faster. Plus it helps keeps the clones healthy cus without a lot of leaf it won't try to photosynthesize and grow.

I don't do too much with clones after I ship them from the mom just stick them in water in my kitchen by the window and that's that. They root within two weeks and they can stay like that for months. I have a few clones that I've had for 3 months now and they still look like I just cut them from the mom. It's a good way of you don't need to produce clones in a hurry.

Great work as usual Ms. Gotta get back in the groove of checking everybody's grows again

HEYHEYHEY RIU!
I just wanted to say thank you for watching this grow with me, it has been a learning experience and a fun run.
I chopped white widow and birthday cake on the eve of the 9th, right on schedule, trichs were about 25% ish maybe a tad less.
when I see cloudy amber cloud cloudy amber amber cloudy cloudy amber. I usually say it's time. again I'm about feeling the plant out
and they felt ready to me. In the past I have had cut fever and cut too soon, I think that is something most growers do at some point
for many reasons. I have learned patience though and it paid off well for me.
I am not sure I'm keeping Birthday cake, it's a decent yielding plant, but she was also the only one to come down
with bud rot issues in the same situation as the other plants, so I might need to consider that.
I am letting her dry and cure a little before I sample her. And I'm growing her out again right now. I have let a strain go too soon
in the past so now I try to give most strains at least two runs to be certain, a few it has only taken one to go naah I don't like this plant.
White widow-discontinued after 2 runs, still looking for the widow of my past.
birthday cake- 1 more grow at least.
cookie mix- semi-perm spot in garden 2nd run.
I have a journal under the blog type section where I bore you all with the strains I'm starting and what I'm planning.
and I started a perpetual grow thread so I don't have to keep making new threads.
All three are dry and widow and BC just went into jars, cookie mix has been in a jar about 2 days I think.
