What are these any clue??

I watered plants and see these silver/very light yellow back coloured insects running around on top of soil. I think they are springtails but want to be sure. I hope n doubt it's funGus gnat but there is the possibility.

But from the giving description any ideas. My plants are healthy still and continuing to flower no problem. Which is 2nd reason I feel they're springtails

Sorry been a lil busy.

Hard to get good pics as buggers r always on the move and when I try take soil into my hand they either run around or hop away. Cheeky fellas.

2 pics posted look like springtails to me.

Allow a little more dry time between waterings and numbers should dwindle.

Clean up any leaf debris etc.

They aren't harmful, just unsightly.

Well thank you and Bx liking your post must mean he himself feel they are springtails.

Heh yeah I certainly know they're not harmful and show sign of good soil health even though I have only 20% soil abouts in medium. Yes true it's not a sight welcomed in the grow but I'm not complaining. Not anymore with peace of mind. Plus the girls have showed no threatening stress if any at all.

I have used straight up hot ass water on bugs in my dirt before with good success. didnt seem to bother the plant as i didnt drench it with the hot water, but if the plants sre fine ide leave it be
