Nathalie Dinelle

Manager, Production
Nathalie supervises the production of Hydropothecary’s medical marijuana, ensuring that operations at our facilities run smoothly and the quality of our products remain consistent.

Her background in production management goes back many years.

This experience makes her the perfect person to oversee our production. She trains new hires, oversees many aspects of inventory, checks equipment and enforces all health and safety standards.

Under her steely gaze, the various craftspeople involved in cultivation, harvest and storage work diligently, following the precise process required to ensure premium quality.

Justin Gagnon
Manager, Facilities
We’ve tasked Justin with overseeing all physical aspects of our facilities.

Considering that we grow our medical marijuana in state-of-the-art facilities; that production depends upon precise control of light, humidity and nutrients; and that our R&D programs require complex monitoring systems, his are an impressive set of responsibilities.

He’s clearly up to the task.

Justin is the Hydropothecary’s in-house MacGyver. From construction of building to mechanics to high-tech systems, he can plan and implement whatever’s needed to ensure everything at our facility runs smoothly.

Dave Claydon
Outreach & Efficiency
It was medical marijuana that finally helped Dave effectively manage injuries from his old days as a wrestler. His extensive knowledge of medical marijuana now informs his efforts in both of his roles.

As the boots on the ground for Hydropothecary, Dave oversees our outreach to various health professionals, educating them about medical marijuana. As an ex-wrestler used to grappling, he’s able to reach the right people and turn their ears as needed.

His training as an industrial engineer with a green belt in Lean Six Sigma is critical to our efforts to streamline production processes, whether reducing set up times, increasing throughput or finding cost-savings.

His hulking frame belies a friendly demeanour and a patience to interact with people from both technical and non-technical backgrounds.

Sylvie Beauregard
Operations
Sylvie keeps the Hydropothecary’s operations running smoothly and efficiently.

She’s intimately familiar with every internal process our staff must follow. This is no surprise, considering she developed our entire manual of standard operating procedures.

Now she keeps a close eye on how the SOPs are applied in practice to ensure our operations meet all regulatory requirements.

Koby Smutylo
Legal Counsel
After graduating from Western University, Koby practiced law in Toronto for many years, acting as counsel to small and mid-sized businesses, TSX and TSX V listed public companies and several investment dealers.

Following his return to Ottawa, his hometown, he was senior corporate counsel to a large Canadian-based international software company, managing legal teams in Ottawa, Taiwan and Japan.

His specializes in providing high quality legal guidance to entrepreneurial individuals and businesses, one of the reasons Hydropothecary has employed his services.

Through his expert advice, our company can efficiently navigate the often complex legal and regulatory regime governing medical marijuana in Canada.

Sean McKenney
Accounting Officer
Sean oversees accounting and advanced financial reporting for all of Hydropothecary’s activities.

His decade in various accounting roles, where he provided strategic advice to owners, investors and employees, was a key factor in his joining the Hydropothecary team.

Critically, we’ve tasked Sean with putting in place the processes and controls that will govern the company’s accounting operations.

Essentially, he’s in charge of keeping track of the numbers, ensuring the Chief Financial Officer and other key team members have the information they need to make informed business decisions.

John Macaulay
Online & Content
John plays a key role in helping Hydropothecary tell its story to the world.

Tours through the worlds of business, politics and policy gave him a practical understanding of the communications and marketing needs of a company in a new, heavily regulated industry.

John thinks strategically about content, whether it be video, imagery, audio – or the good ol’ written word.

Both online and offline, content is the critical component to making Hydropothecary the authority on medical marijuana in Canada, and so the company looks to him to plan and implement its overall content strategy.

Samantha Dumas
Marketing
As part of the Hydropothecary’s crack marketing team, Sam helps the company build its brand, craft its message and grow its clientele.

She has an extensive background in brand strategy and communications.

Her fingerprints are all over various initiatives critical to the company’s ongoing success, including Premier Access, the referral program, social media and promotional events.

Through Sam’s efforts, Hydropothecary aims to help people live a smarter, better life through medical marijuana.

Thank god....the rolling papers to match the mj has been found....

http://www.huffingtonpost.ca/2014/12/05/tyga-gold-rolling-papers_n_6278052.html

The rapper Tyga on Thursday announced a $5 million investment in rolling papers made of gold, betting big on a luxury market for smoking.

The California hip-hop star will become the creative director for Shine Papers, which launched last year selling papers made of 24-karat gold as well as blunts that feature tattoo designs.

Tyga described the $4.60-per-single-leaf papers, whose admirers include pop star Miley Cyrus, as offering a "premium experience" equivalent to ordering expensive bottles of alcohol.

"Why burn regular paper when you can burn 24-karat gold?" he said in a statement.

Shine Papers, sold at tobacco shops and online, launched out of Las Vegas amid growing acceptance of marijuana in the United States. The states of Colorado and Washington have legalized cannabis for recreational use.

The company does not explicitly bill itself as catering to marijuana smokers, saying that it is the "brand for those who celebrate all of life's highs."

A company representative, known just as Dave B., said that Tyga's participation gave an "unparalleled platform" for the company to go global.

Marijuana smoking is commonplace in hip-hop circles, where expensive champagne is also a status symbol.

Hip-hop giant Jay Z recently bought the luxury champagne brand Armand de Brignac, of which he had long been a fan.

Well it will be interesting to see how they roll. Paper thin gold will rip and tear...think about gold leaf on vehicles...not positive, but pretty sure it will have to be mixed with something. WTF is next?
