In the 80's a tried cocaine a few times, never cared for it that much--expect to numb ones mouth for a toothache.

The only reason I tried it in the first place was cause it was expensive. I figured it had to be better then pot since it cost so much more, big surprise I got, Even got an 8 ball of it since I thought, hey maybe I'm not giving it enough of a chance to like it.

Lucky I woke up before something bad happen to me. That 3--5 weeks was a learning experience for me. The first time I found out that just cause something is more expensive, doesn't always mean its better. Well I guess I knew that with cars, how used 2 door cars always sell more money then 4 door cars yet both cars can drive just great, depending on the car.

The same will happen here, you get these folks who in their mind, they will believe this $900 an OZ bud is so much better then any bud that sells for $300. Most will wake up before long but just like Coke, some folks will think its better

My son was all concerned when this MMPR joke of a program came out. I told him at the time with all the "Harper Government" and their cronies greedy hands in there, regulations and rules, they'd be lucky to turn a profit at $10/gram. At these "luxury" prices (wtf is that?) they should do really well, can't wait to buy some stock, or not. They should smoke one and re-think their dreamland business model. I grow it at around $1/gram, sell it for $4 to cancer patients who can afford it, give some out, and sell it at $7/gram to recreational smokers. Why the fuck would anyone have to resort to paying those rates is beyond me, fire their market analysis people and go back to the drawing board.

One thought that stuck out while I was reading the article. Do these guys know something we don't? They and others invested in these ops talk like this program will go forward as per Harper's view of the world. With a court case/appeal pending and an election coming up next year, is there some back room guarantee they're not telling us about? An investor with any common sense would surely consider those two (big) pending factors a red flag, wouldn't they? Can there be that many blind investors?
The last point is a really good one and something I've wondered myself. That said though, it does appear that the existing MMPR's are going to be turning a profit based on their inability to keep supply in stock and this is with it all up in the air and prices at historic lows on the grey/black market and a lot of MMAR guys still producing a lot of product.

Yeah, we'll see eventually, still a lot up in the air. Producing it is one thing, being able to sell it to a market that accepts the product/price is another. They have a little over 25% of the registered med patients ("clients") buying through the system, those numbers would have to go up drastically for all players to have any chance at surviving. If it ever takes off, there'll be a consolidation to the favoured and possibly already selected few winners.

They will try kill the injunction thinking it will force patients to the LP's to buy. There by saving there dirty asses.....I predict ...not
There will be a real back lash if the injunction is squashed.
Hopefully all will boycott all LP's...sorry but needs to be that way

So this place is specifically designed to be open for a year or two. Grow as much as possible and divert it all to the bm. There's no other believable explanation. That's the only business model that works with the info this lp has given us.

Why does one need a chemical engineer to grow a plant? I think I would rather smoke something called Kush than " good morning"....sounds like a coffee brand....why do these guys feel like they have to reinvent the wheel? ....award winning horticulture...what does that mean? Did they enter and win a cannabis cup or the Dutch tulip festival? Big fucking difference. Don't get me started on the research bullshit....maybe that's why it costs so much, because they're interested in trying to figure out how they can manipulate the plant to provide for them. Hmmmm

If they go black market the prices are going to be.... soooooooooooo much less than what they're looking for.

so much less? So much less! Lest think about that.
Do you think selling to the BM won't see them make a HUGE profit?
Just less of a HUGE profit that the LP's will see charging criminal prices is all :)

Hypothetically, if they can actually get people to pay these prices in a legal setting - there's no way they'd ever fuck with the BM.

Grams on the BM are closer to a couple dollars if you're buying or selling in bulk than they are to 30.

pretty cool site they got... http://thehydropothecary.com/
Looks like some shit I whipped up when I was like 11 n hardly knew basic html. Shit they could sell 1 gram n pay for a better design at those rates lmao. They're pushing trees for a little under what we used to pay per gram for coke rofl...this is ridiculous.

I wouldn't pay $30 a gram if it came with a blowjob and a car wash.
