While I am sure there have been riots white people have been the majority of protesters in, I can't think of any that have been a topic of discussion.
The only thing that comes to mind is the occupy movement.

Do you suspect these folks were white?

I had to lol though. I was in the crowd for one of those riots. I wouldn't have called it a riot though. It was the 2010 Tennessee lane kiffin goes to USC, announced in the middle of the night.
We had a coach before him for 16 years, Fulmer. Had a few rough seasons and we let him go. He had a top notch recruiting class coming in. Lane told half of them to go somewhere else. One won the national championship on his own almost, and a Heisman. Cam Newton.
Kiffin signed a decent class, several are in the NFL now. But those guys were either thugs and got kicked off the team for robbing a market (in their jersey) and other quit when kiffin did. He fucked us hard.
The most violent thing that happened that night was someone carried their mattress from their dorm room and set it on fire. It really was more of a protest. Very little if any property was damaged.
Anyway. I never told buck whites didn't riot. I know all people riot.

one 'race' riots because of continued injustices against them. the other because of a sports team win.
some people on this site only like to manufacture outrage when the former happens, never making a peep when the latter happens.
then they wonder why everyone thinks they are racist and manufacture outrage over that as well.

Sports riots are a bizarre phenomenon.
They are also tiny and small compared to the race riots blacks come up with for the least little perceived injustice.
Besides, most of our sports teams are black, so we could blame sport riots on blacks too.

a simple examination of legal outcomes shows blacks to get unequal treatment over and over. most of darren wilson's testimony was 1800's era caricaturization of black people as superhuman brutes.

Out justice system does not like to reward people with dirty hands, and likewise is less likely to punish the perpetrator of violence against a "victim" with dirty hands.
We can never know what we don't know.
Not that it was justified, but what if Rodney King spat on or was a complete asshole to the cops?
I've also seen white people beaten badly by police with no punishment for the cop.
When it happens to blacks they think it's because they're black, when it is simply because cops are cops.
