I can't even imagine, I'd be lying if I didn't say I wasnt a coward. War is not for me.
I dont think that I would want to do it again. I am kind of faint hearted when I see blood. You know, like get dizzy. I have even passed out when they drew my blood, also when my buddy got shot in the leg... It is a hit and miss feeling, like it does not always happen... Smell blood and want to puke.

People who re-enlist in the infantry during wartime probably need a psyc evaluation! I did not re-enlist

Eh, sorry don't have much to say, plus it's a holiday.

I do feel for our veterans, more have died at home than in combat. I know we don't pay them enough nor appreciate their service to the degree it should be.

I was not talking about anyone in general, I was really talking about past experiences. I noticed that talking about deployment makes people uncomfortable, like when you see a guy in a wheelchair. It is like people want to avoid the situation because you dont know what to say them.

I dont mean to offend anyone handicapped!

That is how I feel about christianity at times also...

I had this teacher that was completely filled with the holy spirit and he liked me. He did not see many students outside of school, but I was so amazed by this guy that I drove 40mi to his church. Afterwards, he bought me lunch. We had a conversation and I felt like I had to unburden myself of a "sin". I told him that I was involved in cooking meth, before I joined the army in 2002, and he never looked at me the same after that.

It's surprising how judgmental people can be of others, I'm just as guilty. Most of us have a past, one many of us may feel negative about.
