La confidential is one of my favorite varieties
It was one of the strongest strains I've tried out of almost 100 strains. I always go back to it.
To me you can't go wrong with some la. There are stronger strains and tastier strains. But to me it just works best as meds for me

Anyways I can't ever get it to yield well.. The first time I grew it was about 3 years ago and I pretty much always wanna have it in my garden.. I'm starting over from a single seed this time and I know it's a notoriously slow vegger and not a big yielder... But are there any tips from people who rock la? I've even seen it gown on Instagram with huge plants huge rooms if I could get it to yield even over half ounce to 20g I'd be in heaven
Maybe I'm just a shitty grower but even with an eight 9 even 11week veg I still end up with small yields
One thing I've noticed is it definitely won't take off until it hits the bottom on pot..
I'm not trying to grow commercially or anything just want it to be worth my time to grow it..
I don't wanna switch to hydro I prefer organically grown weed for too many reasons
I tried tying it down and it didnt seem to help.. I've seen people use staking to spread it out more but haven't tried it? I know it tends to grow more golf all shaped but how can I get fat cola on it?
I hate asking questions on here bc I look like an idiot lol but if anyone grows la help me out!

I dont know yet, but, I have 9 females of a LA Confidential X Cali Hash Plant that a friend of mine crossed.. I'm pretty damn excited.. the indica traits are intense.. BIG broad leaves on every plant.

Maybe I will have something for you in the future.. Never grown LA Conf before, but sounds like good stuff to come.

I know that you said you tried tying it down and you also mentioned it being a slow vegger, so scroging it might not work, but my low yielders get the screen and it always improves the yield. Alternatively, you could grow out a mother and clone the shit out of her and do a sea-of-green, which also works great, but I find it to be too much work, so I run a screen.

Maybe try growing out a larger population and searching for a better yield plant that still has the traits you want..?

What is confidential hash smoke like?

The flavor of la is more of a hashy earthy coffee taste and the hash I have made from it yields well but doesn't really taste great ime
I thought I had picked a larger yielding pheno of it ... I had two different phenos one that turned more purple at end of flowering seemed to yield even less than the one I kept..
Right now I just have a la confidential x pre 98 bubba kush that a friend crossed. And I had two phenos one that grew more like la which I lost and the one I have is actually like a stretch indica It grows really Branchy and vegges fast

I had a cross of LA Con and Skunk1 and the yield was huge .i pulled a 1/4 lb. dry off a 3 ft. plant.the l.a. traits dominated but the skunk 1 really upped the yield.It was a freebie from DNA and the tude.

La con is very potent great for pain and sleep. Genetics show this strain is a minimum yield strain must be grown in qty for l th yields, however I've found bc big bud or California big bud to produce identical medical effects with a well over average yield
