It boggles my mind when people ask things like this. How irresponsible can you be to not just quit smoking for a few months just to make sure hopefully everything goes as good as it can? If someone asks that question they obviously have a fear that it could damage the baby, but not one person here is a licensed doctor. In fact, I doubt a licensed doctor could tell you much because of the very little research on the subject. My point is, why give your kids a nother potential reason to be fucked up when there's already so many things that could go wrong with out you adding some more. It just seems like something any responsible user would do and selfish to ignore, but that's just my opinion.
I'm pretty sure no single person needs weed to survive. And yea look at all those medications, you seen how many have been recalled through the years cause all the babies born while the mothers used them were fucked up? There's countless drugs over time that have caused horrible defects (physical and mental) in babies. So why add something that could possibly help. I think yea maybe taking a couple puffs a couple times in pregnancy probably wont mess with the baby much, or at all. But I'm not a doctor.I don't think it is a reponsibility issue, meaning that I don't think you are irresponsible for smoking weed while pregnant, unless it is abused. All in moderation. What about all the women on other types of meds while pregnant. How do those affect them? Some meds woman are on, they need to survive. Does that make them irresponsible for taking those?

THANK YOUIt's very irresponsible to smoke while pregnant, to smoke anything while pregnant is stupid... no matter how benign because it starves the fetus of oxygen and there is no arguing that. It interferes with the bloody supply and flow to the fetus so your child might be born smaller and more frail than if you hadn't smoked anything, and we all know what problems small, underdeveloped babies face once they come out. I also don't see how you can downplay what Florida Girl is saying, it's exactly like blowing weed into a baby's face, except you're not even giving the baby a chance to look away, you're forcing it upon them which is beyond irresponsible, it's Darwinism. Phewww... my .2 cents.
so try the latest drug until it gets recalled?I'm pretty sure no single person needs weed to survive. I agree with jtreuth, if it's just to get high then that's selfish and stupid (in my opinion, don't get pissed at me).
You are correct but just as I said, it affects blood supply and flow, meaning you could still very well harm the fetus. I'm just sayin', I'm just sayin'. If you can't quit smoking for 9 months for your baby's optimum health, you have problems bigger than I can help with.fetuses breath oxygen thru the blood stream.
