Some people say that you shouldn't use tupperware but i've done it with no ill effects.I need something bigger than those jars. My harvest are like 4lbs. Is there anything else besides those jars? Tupperware tubs perhaps?

Thata awesome knowledge. I appreciate it. I have heard about that but never implemented into my grow. And yeah dwc, co2 and bloombastic is what produces those yields from 1600wYupp, it's commonly overlooked but it's recommended that outdoor growers harvest before sunrise the next day for that reason. And damn dude im jelly haha. I wish i was pulling 4 pounds
Ahhh, the CO2 man thats whats doing those buds justice. I really really want to use CO2 once I have more money. I'm a broke as 19 year old haha. Do you use a slow release system that releases gas over your canopy or do you use those bags that release CO2?I also run co2, and bloombastic is a great product to add weight. My buds are like rocks with that shit
I think I'll go with Tupperware because last grow I had about 40 mason jars. It was just too much to handie burping each one lolSome people say that you shouldn't use tupperware but i've done it with no ill effects.
I disagree. The reason it smells like hay is because it was not dried and cured properly. Also giving your plants a dark period before actually cutting it can help. That way when you chop your plant it doesnt have all the chloroplasts and all that other shit the plant cells have during photosynthesis (when you have sunshine)
When you cut a plant during photosynthesis it will smell grassy and hay like.
I know what u mean..I didn't run co2 till my 3rd grow and I could really see the difference. I use a 20lb tank, regulator and timer 15 on 40 off. I get light headed when I go into the room to work. That's how I know the co2 is elevatedAhhh, the CO2 man thats whats doing those buds justice. I really really want to use CO2 once I have more money. I'm a broke as 19 year old haha. I think he meant while drying it will eliminate the hay smell. Not the finished product. My finished buds never smelled like hay BUT it doesn't have that super dank smell I'm after either.I disagree. The reason it smells like hay is because it was not dried and cured properly.
Wow thats really awesome man! So you leave it on for 15 min and 45 min off? Now when you use the CO2 do you not ventilate your grow space? Wouldn't the CO2 be vented out? I'm noob with this but want to learn now that I got someone whos using CO2.I know what u mean..I didn't run co2 till my 3rd grow and I could really see the difference. Yes 15 minutes on and 45 off, I hang the tubing above the canopy to let it drop down to the plants. I also have some tubing hooked to a fan to blow the shit all over the room. When I run it for 15 min I have my scrubber turned off for 30 mins to allow the co2 to penetrate. then after the co2 shuts off, 15 min later the scruber comes back on. This is ran while my lights are on, a 20lb tank last me about a weekWow thats really awesome man! So you leave it on for 15 min and 45 min off? And since CO2 is denser and heavier do you have it released at the top of your grow space so it slowly settles to the plant canopy
Thanks for replying brother man. That seems like a pretty legit system you're working with. Makes sense all around. How much does a 20 pound tank cost to refill and do you only use it in flower??Yes 15 minutes on and 45 off, I hang the tubing above the canopy to let it drop down to the plants. My refills are 17 bucks, and I use it in veg and flower. It seems as though when I use it in veg they get to where I need them much quicker. When used in flower I see shit dense up a lot more. I also notice that when it's hotter in the room they grow faster and have a more pungent smellThanks for replying brother man. That seems like a pretty legit system you're working with. I used the humidity packs once. They absorb alot of the dank scent and leave the buds really bland. What i do now is have a humidity gauge in the jar and if the humidity gets too low and the buds are drying out, i throw a fresh wet bud in there and all the dry ones will absorb the moisture out of it. You want it to dry real slow so the chloraphil will dry out of it and you dont get the grass smell. What is your temp and humidity when you dry? And do u use those humidpak things to cure with?
Terpenes production is the answer to your questionJust as the title says I would like to know how do you guys get that loud/dank smell? You know when you have weed wrapped up in a bag, zip lock tied, and in a backpack but you still smell that shit wreaking havoc on your nostrils. That's the kind of smell I want. I am sure drying and curing is pretty important as well as strain? But what about nutrient doses. More nutes, more smell? Also does weed have a stronger smell when it's more stickyou or more on the dry side? The strains I have are blueberry og, sour diesel, green love potion, afghan kush, chemdog, and cr+. I know these ducked have the capability of producing that smell. From you guys experience what's the most EFFECTIVE way of bring those sweet skunky, funky, fruity, citrusey smell out.
Food grade tupperware should be no probs. Some people say that you shouldn't use tupperware but i've done it with no ill effects.
