dunno,i wouldnt do it...nutes in last days give weed a little "fiery" feeling in the neck(not in good way) when smoking,and also give that bad taste.i'd reccomend to keep flushin!

Yeah i'm thinking you're right. I'm going to continue to just flush with water. Hopefully she gets a little denser in the last week here....

I got rid of a smaller branch that wasn't mounting to much so i'm hoping it can put some more growth into the bigger buds now. Can't wait to see how she looks after Thanksgiving! I would really like to chop her the day after and munch out on leftovers while trimming her up to hang!

whoaaaaa..bad move dude.never ever eeever cut something out of an auto.no topping,no fimming,no clearing of lower branch.......it will do her no good.to be honest i've done that too,despite i already knew i shouldnt do it.and nothing changed,i just lost a branch that could double its size but its always trial and error.i am from europe so i dont really know when thanksgiving is..27-28 or something like that?anyway,i wouldnt rush it if i was you.if you are not 100% that she's ready,just give her a few more days.its always better to harvest 3 days later(after that sweet spot,u will see what i mean when it's time)than 3 days earlier...but it's your call so do whatever you wana do

dont think twice,go photos next round.you can blow them to hell and bring them back!if you fuck an auto,its fucked for the rest of it's short life and you can do nothing about it.in general,i think that autos should be "supplement" plants.e.g. you got a couple photos that wil take 3-4-5 months.you can put a couple autos every 2 months,just to have something to smoke while waiting the photos!im a guy that likes to fuck around with my plants too,so i understand you completely.sorry for my bad english btw

Yeah man, I'm looking in my attic right now and may be starting something up there after I harvest this girl. I have a 'Blue Kush' seed by Dinafem that's a photo that I can run. Or I'm thinking about just running two bagseeds under my 150W keeping them small... I ran a photo once and it was bagseed outdoors and I was so excited and it is by far my best work but I had nothing to show for it.... It snapped at it's main stalk during a bad wind storm in the summer. Heres how she looked though. She was getting cheesy too

And you're right I hate to do all this and not get a female... I plan on doing some training to so it may herm and shit so I'm really unsure what I want to do here. They're good seeds from some good bud. But at the same time due to my temperature issue I don't wanna just blow through a good seed that could have gotten me something better. And yeah I got this Blue Kush as a freebie from attitude as well.

My friends kinda hate on Dinafem.

Also i'm expecting to harvest this bitch on the 29th. On Thanksgiving (27th) I want to turn my light off and give it a 48 hour dark period. Is this suggested? And why do growers do this??

Hey man. I'm subbed. I'm planning to flower my next plant under a 150W HPS as well I'm not sure about the science behind it but I've noticed a lot of flower growth during the dark periods day by day in early flowering. Also it is possible to bump flowering a little bit by giving it 36-48 hours of dark after you're done vegging. Anyway like I said I'm not certain of the science behind it but darkness seems to make the female flowers want to reproduce faster so it promotes growth. Peace

Here's a little update since we are approaching her end-life. She is taking on a change in color under her leaves. Looking a little purple in some spots. She's swelling and swelling.... Really want some more guesses on yield.. i know it's difficult to guess but still fun to hear what you guys think. I'll be sure to post my wet and dry weight.

Oh shit I forgot she's an auto. They're not sensitive to light cycles. Well scratch that I'm going to run feminized Special Kush #1 from Royal Queen Seeds. Very good value. Actually one of them is sprouting in rockweel right beside the keyboard on my desk

For your last water, load it up with carbos! I use sugar daddy by technaflora, but you can use whatever bloom booster you have. Just make sure it's something with little to no NPK in it. This gives your plants tons of sugars to thrive on in its last few days, to really pack on some weight.

A lot of people attribute the harsh tasting weed after harvest to to many carbos and nutes in the soil, but I almost NEVER flush my girls and have never had a problem with harshness after a proper dry and cure.

But to me, depriving your Girls of carbos in a time when it uses them the most makes no sense
