Cant get my Bong fully cleaned!!!!

So t this great bong, ive had it for just over a year and it has been great
I clean it regularly, water changing a few times a week
And iso + salt wash it every 1-2 weeks, depending how much i have been smoking

So it used to be beautifully crystal clear and i could see through the tree per
But now even after solvent + salt cleans it still has resin build up in the perc tubes

I usually use Methylated Spirits + Salt, because iso is more expensive where i live, and metho is pure alcohol anyway with stuff added to stop you drinking it, and i always thoroughly rinse it afterwards.
And it usually works really well, but lately ive wanted to get it back to brand new, but have failed....

I have tried the following methods today and nothing has worked
Soaking in boiling hot soapy water, in between Metho + salt washed
Acetone and salt

Is there anything i havent tried, or should i just resign to the fact that it will never be clean

*Note: Before anyone posts and comments, I know how to use and dispose of these chemicals safely, as well as rinsing the bong thoroughly afterwards, and have studied chemistry at University level
And yes i am sure it was full strength, i poured some on a piece of wood and washed it off seconds later with water, and it had stripped the color

LOL apparently that's why most of us succeed where you failed. Once you come to predetermined conclusions about how a particular molecule will interact with another molecule they tend to become recalcitrant and oppositionaly defiant. It takes graduate school chem to learn how to wrangle those bastards.

Until then please dispose of your chemicals properly!

use 91% iso, heat it up, add sea salt, shake the fuck out of it.

Yeah i knew that sounded a bit arrogant haha
But in all my searching on forums, whenever someone mentions using acid or solvents, theres a huge backlash telling them they are an idiot etc.
I havent tried Iso yet, so it might be my last shot, im not sure how it will be different from Methylated spirits (ethanol), bt being structurally different might help
Really not sure as HCL should have eaten away at anything organic

My daily driver is a very thick (9mm) clear glass bong. When I get lazy and don't clean it for a few weeks, it takes several soaking sessions to get it back to showroom clean. I soak it in a strong Grunge-off solution overnight, and I've been reusing the same solution for over a year, shit lasts quite a while. You may want to try a strong product specifically made to get rid of resin, this is my favorite -

Rinse with cold 2% milk, It will be clean and stay clean for months.

I won't smoke out others glass. You should treat a water pipe as any dish in your kitchen. I throw my water pipes in the dish washer. And change water daily

Acetone is a nasty chemical, stop using it. Here is what I do.
I get some 90% Iso and some sea salt. I pour the salt in the piece, then the Iso. I shake the shit out of it until it is pretty much clean. Then I mix some warm/hot water and OxyClean and pour that in and shake that. Then I just rinse it out with warm/hot water, works every time. No resin chunks, residue or smell, just a brand new looking piece

I drop my phone atleast 20 times a day, no cracks or scratchs. Its a android. My buddy just and went and bought a brand new giant iphone whatever it didn't even make through 3 days. First time it fell the screen shattered. I don't get the iPhone craze. I ask everyone why iPhone? They alway say the same thing... it's easy to use, sure if it's broken.sorry just a lil rant

Honeycomb percs get clogged when you use em for flowers...I use my honeycomb tube for concentrates only...though since I got my 10mm fritted mini rig, I don't use the honeycomb very often...
