Super hot chili- Carolina Reaper-Ghost Chili-Trinidad Scorpion

Try the bonnets. People commonly pass off different colored habeneros as bonnets at markets. But the bonnet shape is how you tell. Totally different flavor too! I am going to try some white ghost peppers next.

Are the bonnets small yellow ones that are smooth kinda like a marble shape ?
I had these ones last year but couldnt identify them...I knew they werent yellow habs..and unfortunately only last nite I cut what I had left in the freezer from last year up and put in jars of mussels

pop where you chop..put it in dirt and keep it moist..all 5 of mine popped,2 lived(wind accident with the other 3)..all popped the same way..even the seed pack said expect 2-4 weeks for germination...keep at it!
Lately ive just been putting the chilli seeds in paper towel for a week or so then throwing them in containers of soil...its working gd so far

I also love growing hot peppers in my hydro garden. I suck at it for some reason, probably overdoing things too much. I grow when I need a change from my mmj garden. This time I am going to try some Thai chilies in my dwc buckets instead of ebb and flow setup.

Ive always thought about buying a cheap cfl light and trying a soil grow for superhots im enjoying them outdoors at the moment tho....

well,i was using the changed res water in promix..not in an actual.setup..but i may this summer..
i reccommended the germ tech cause most(not assuming btw) dont know that the seedstake weeks to germ, and toss them prematurely,or disturb them in an impatient motherly worry, and mess em up.but if yours works, dont fix it right?:-)

I have a fenced off from the dogs and kids garden area full sun that they can go if I can get them to germ. Just planted another 20. so I have 10 reaper, 10 scorpion, 10 ghost, 10 white ghost and 10 naga viper

Ive had some take 4 weeks to sprout before but I just find myself personally if I do the paper towel like mj seeds then throw in the dirt with barely any soil in top they will sprout in half the time

Good idea about the fence! When my son and his little buddy got into my outdoor Thai chili garden they picked a nice ripe and very plump pepper and decided to give it a big squeeze. Well you guessed it, it shot juice right into this kids eye. Poor
kid screamed like he was dying. Flushed his eye out with cold milk and that was that. Lesson learned by me to try and isolate the garden!
