I am stuck right now trying to figure out the most efficient way to maximize my 2x4x4 tent. I don't have much vertical space so the plants need to stay on the shorter side.

Should I go gallon bags with 12 plants? Maybe 1/2 gal bags with 24?

Anyone who is a pro at measurements and efficiency help a brotha out...

Thats too many plants in that small of space. 4 plants in 5 gallon pots. TRim the plants back while in veg to fit your canopy. Guesstimate the plant will grow double in size by the time its ready to harvest.
Yesterday I put the 4 under the 600 into flower, but before I did I cut back any potential stretch (pic 1)
This is what they will look like after a month of flower, and I will yield 4-6 oz of each plant under 1000w (pic2)
I love to manipulate the shape of my plants into trees of artwork

Larger pots fewer stems. Less problems with moisture and airflow. lolly pop and supercrop.

I just used smaller height rez tanks so my trays would sit as low as possible get creative

mine when I was done from the floor to the top of the tray was only 16 inches mabey a lil less

also if you get crafty you can bury your rez to were its level with the floor then your trays only add like 6 inches of height

be suprised what you can think of

necessity is the mother of ALL inventions lol

edit I build all of my systems

Just grow SOG style. 12 plants in one gallon, or 8 plants in 3 gallon pots under like a 400-600w and you'll be good. Just switch to flower after 2-4 weeks depending on how tall you want your plants to end up

Hybrid with short indicia stretch
1 gallon root pouches (Best price for fabric pots you will find, three different grades)
32 plants - 4 per square foot
Cut all lower nodes off of clones when transplanted into root pouches, leaving just the top that will grow
Flower at about 6 inches tall

I do this on a 4x4 flood table with 64 plants and get 1 ounce per plant, harvest 8 plants every 2 weeks. Keep it hazy bongsmilie

Set it up as a perpetual and you can have a harvest every 2 weeks

What he said. But look up RootMaker pots. They make a hard plastic round root air trim pot in 1,3 and 5 gallon. They also make them in square 1 gallon pots. They air trim roots different then cloth bags. Keeps better control of side growing. Fit better then cloth and yield more. I've ran them side by side. Heavy gauge so you can reuse for years. I have some form 6 years ago. My newest are 3 years old. Will last many more years. Only fit 15 in your space. Made a little wider and shorter. Keeps plants shorter with closer nodes. Tighter buds then cloth bags too.. Depending on light to determine yield.

When I ran a 2x4x5.5' cabinet for both veg and flower I found 3x plants in either 3 or 5gal pots the most productive, trained/LST'd sativa's (short but wide) would fill the space wall-to-wall but still allow for decent circulation.

Also not sayin anyone is wrong

I just went hydro in my lil box cause waterings became a drag lol
I understand, I am having trouble with this brown sludgy stuff though in my hydro tray. I used h202 and cleaned the whole tray top to bottom, cleaned the res, ran the pump through h202 water for 2 days cleaning it each day in between refilling the h202...

came back like nothing. It isn't really making the plants grow any different but its just nasty. That is the only reason I haven't done hydro for everything. I want to though.
