yeah, my wife had to have several blood tests, vision tests, MRI, and more before she saw this guy. he ordered a spinal tap and was dead right about what the likely results would be. she felt better as soon as the drugs wore off and she got some of my drugs again.
Not talking about that.
If I came to see him with a knife sticking out of my head
he would order a colesterol test

I'm not shitting. I needed a doctors excuse when I was shot. I went to see him and he ordered my vitamin d levels to be checked

The Military man, every soldier can. Its the best racket I've seen. Plus if you're a foreigner you can join the us military and they will help you get your citizenship as well and you'll get all the same benefits.
So in other words, the 4 year minimum is what pays for your "free education"

You make it sound like they are not getting paid.
The peace corps makes you sign a contract and pays you shit to clean up dead children after a tsunami.

Avg. cost of attending a UC for 1 year = $29,200 (off campus) > 2 years = $58,400 > 4 years = $116,800

E1 base pay/month = $1,531.50 > /year = $18,378

An E1's salary for an entire year covers ~half the cost of attending a UC for 1

The point is, you do not get a "free education", you pay for it with your service

Miltary can be hard work.
Want the real deal
national gaurd. 1 weekend a month, 2 weeks a year. They pay for your education and give you per diem. My room mate in college flew Helicopters. EVERY weekend. He had been going to school for 8+ years and had no other job.

Didnt need one

That's awesome! What kind of helicopter?

When I was interested in joining, the national guard and coast guard didn't need recruits and sent me to the Navy station

What did you score on the ASVAB? I scored 91

Also, what'd you do in the Navy? Was joining a good decision in your opinion?

I dont remember but it was 91 or 92
I think the top is like 105 or something. Wish I had joined another service. My recruiter said it was better not to get a A school that I could train to be whatever I wanted once I was in.

Big lie

I worked 1st divison cranes rigging refueling.
I studied to be a corpsman took the course and tested,
All I needed to do was work there and reenlist for 3 more years and they would send me to school.
I said no

I had some fun, I had some hard times
Boot camp gave me discipline. Only regret I got was not trying to be a SEAL. back then no one knew who they were. And the film they showed us made it look impossible to me to even try. But I look back now and think I had a real good opportunity to at least try. And they stressed that failing BUDs wasnt a bad thing. They encouraged you to do it at anytime during training.

No I'm not subbed to anything SEAL related.
It was one of those things no one knew about back then, and at the time I didnt think I could do it. If I knew about them back then the way I knew about them now I would of gone for it, It was invite only back then so it was really an honor I didnt know about

Last thought. They were secret back in 82. In their training video. They just touched on what they did. And what they said was basically they did something with demolition

Basic Underwater Demolition School
How glamourous does that sound? The whole 30 minute orientation movie was just basically guys running, more running carrying around a log More running some swimming. a little bit of scuba and more running

Businesses will not take a hit on profit. Why would they? So instead automate... I'm sure Wendy's will be next

Anytime I go to a store that has those automatic machines, I fuck up on purpose just so the lazy fuck standing there staring at everyone while not doing a thing to help has to move their ass a little that day.

Where did you get the idea that the military pays for your college education?
You said your friend got the GI BIll and the military paid for his school on top of that.
Someone is lying.

it's called Defensive Medicine

if he didnt order the test and you got rickets he could be sued for malpractice.

if a doctor sees a symptom and doesnt test, even if it is unrelated to your primary complaint he is still liable.

Thats like going to the doctor with a broken finger and he starts doing tests for Rheumatoid arthritis, muscular dystophy, and multiple sclerosis just to ensure the pain isn't just from the broken bone.

Those tests are all free right?

People wonder why it costs so much.

Perhaps they should stop suing the doctors for not being god.

I'm sure the rend pawls of the world would love that. That dude has been sued for malpractice multiple times and has lost, because he is an incompetent racist loser.
