Jeez it happens with a few of my strains and I typically only top once. I was just wondering why it is recommended by some is all. Just think i'd lose a lot of good bud. Now back to the nute debate lol.

Sorry, but this post is wrong. There are certain elements that a plant needs. Any complete nutrient will provide these elements. Are you suggesting that CANNA has better (magic?) salts than everyone else?

The guy really knows what hes talking about. If one web site says this and another says that then its all semantics. Denying co2 helps, pruning, high quality fertilizer, any of these things being conveyed repeatedly to our community is such a pile of crap. These opinions are ass backwards and delusions. Im still waiting for Ben to go over to the scrogers thread and tell them all that their doing it wrong. And then watch them run him out like the varmint he is. :lol:

Hey man, dont knock outdoors lol. Built me a very nice waterfront home back in the day lol. Indoors is a nice hobby though lol. As for CO2, well the more I get ready to set it up the more I realize its a shit load more complicated than I first expected re ventilation and air quality.

Hahahaa! Thats funny, it was all the old timers that finally got me to run co2. I resisted forever. Call your grow store and they usually have a chart thatll tell them the rate you should be running it from your room size. Theyll tell you what to set your regulator to and how many times to run it a day. And id never knock outdoor. Im actually going to have an outdoor grow next year. The green house just needs the poly on it. Cant frickin wait. Im in a tough climate to grow outdoor though. Buuuut im a ninja soooo i got that goin for me.;)

before canna was sold at the hydro shops folk were growing with eco-grow powdered nutes here
did the job just as well imo, but not as convenient as liquid food
after canna the new thing was the 3 part general hydro, i used this for a little while but found no advantage over 2 part foods
its just more finicky and expensive

i found that the veg food was not necessary with both canna and vitalink 2 part foods
i use the flower stage food it does well for all stages
although the veg food on its own would also work i'm sure
