hi im a new member here and im having an issue. this just happened 2 days into flower . ive also just switched to back to hydroton after being hit hard with fungus gnats in coco , now this ... I top feed each pot with ro water, water runs 24hrs re circulating back to res. pots are filled with hydroton. ph 5,5 to 6, always .temps are 80-85f rh is 50-60% . 2K watt Hps ,4x LA confidential each light. the last 3 days of veg the res. was changed and I set the ppm at 300.then put them into flower started at 200ppm flowering nutes after the 1st day I see clawing then day 2 I took these pictures . I assumed it was N+ but aren't my ppm low enough already ?also using Co2 @700ppm to start . Co2 stays on 24/7 cause I run two rooms dumping the air in another room where co2 Gen.& AC is . the last 20hrs has been ph'd RO water . please help thank you for reading

with whats been said its helped . I did notice some mushy brown roots along with the healthy ones . dunked each pot into an h202 mix before flowering too to clean things up . ok so from the res. I run a 1/2inch feed line with 1/4inch emitter hose to each pot. my store told me to always leave the water running over the pots even in darkness . "you can let it run at night or turn it off " "you cant overwater in hydro". what should I do ? I have cycle timers I can use then . I hope this is a fix cause im stumped

how often are you watering? i grew LA CON for several years and it didnt drink as much water as all my others. try cutting back on the watering
top feeding 24/7 with hydroton medium (LA is my all time fav strain) what I don't understand is during veg I top feed 24/7 with no problems . its when I switched to flower room . changed nutes and added Co2 then the leaves went funky some are twisted a bit too

they told you to have water running 24/7? try 2-5 times a day for 5 mins or so adjust as needed. definitely do not water them all day. and in veg the lights are longer so may not of affected them as much.

and how long did you veg them for?

and its much easier to fix a underwatering problem, then to fix the over watering

You can run them 24/7 but you'll have to aerate the shit outta your res. i'd see this more as a NFT system at that point.

If you have the cycle timer, do as suggested and only water a few times daily (at night too) but leave plenty of time for the roots to dry out.
